    I used this to blow diatomaceous earth, under my deck, it was connected to a B+D air blower with pvc fittings and duct tape because i did not have the hand blower tool. It worked just fine for what I needed.

    Got this to spread diatomaceous earth in my lawn to kill grasshoppers and crickets. It spread nicely with the blower. I did have to shake it around a little as the earth level in the can got lower, but that's to be expected. It's really secure, no leaking. The size was good. Something a little bigger for what I was doing would have been nice, but what I was putting in was Really light. If it was heavier, this size is great. It stayed pretty secure on the blower. When I would shake it I would have to make sure it was still on correctly.

    A terrible yellowjacket problem last summer motivated me to purchase powder insecticide to spray into small openings so the yellowjackets would then take the poison to their nests and kill their nest, queen and other workers. I needed a delivery system so I purchased this to hook up to my dewalt blower and deliver the poison. Worked like a charm! So pleased! Killed them fast!

    I've been fighting squash bugs, cabbage worms and cucumber beetles for years. I've tried the various squeeze bulb dusters and although they work, sort of, it's tedious work. They clog up regularly, the dust capacity is limited and constant hand pumping is a real chore. My older Dewalt leaf blower is giving up the ghost so I decided to buy the new smaller version and this duster that's designed to fit it. I filled the jar about half way with Sevin dust and ran the blower on low and then medium for the larger plants. It worked fantastic. I was able to cover all areas in 25% of the time it takes with a hand pumped blower and with much better coverage. I do recommend that you wear a respirator while using this because in still air it does create quite a cloud of dust around you. The only two things I found less than optimal was that it doesn't snap in as tightly to the blower as the Dewalt extension tube does. But that's not a major issue since it does fit. And as others have mentioned in the reviews, the jar (or hopper) is fairly thin plastic so durability / longevity remains to be seen. But overall I am very pleased with it, wouldn't have a problem recommending it to family and friends.

    As the tile said, I really liked the IDEA of this item, but in reality it just, didn't seem to work very well, with some effort I managed to fit it to the end of my blower, only for it to not do a very good job of dispensing the powder. I went through no small amount of trouble trying to make this work too!
