Fun fact: a dime weighs 1.75 grams, giving me an easy way to test the accuracy of this bad boy! In total all 6 pennies should weigh 11 grams. Unfortunately when added slowly, the increase wouldn’t always register until the items were removed and the zero would be off. This might just be an issue for lower weights. I retried and it reflected the weight accurately.

I like to bake by weight and being able to weight small amounts like for salt, baking powder, vanilla, etc. would be ideal but not sure I trust it for that just yet.

Also for my fellow Canadians, here’s a 50g coffee crisp 🇨🇦.

Pros:

- Solid build quality and clean look, it doesn’t feel cheap.
- Does provide accurate readings, at least up to 50g.
- Came with batteries!
- Good value.
- Thin body, compact design for easy storage.

I’d probably buy it again, but would maybe spend a bit more for one with a higher accuracy to avoid the glitching issue.
