I needed something simple to play an MP4 from a USB to a projector that would REPEAT INFINITELY. This unit works flawlessly! It is so intuitive - I did not even have to read the instructions (excellent manual). It comes with the Remote, the Power Supply, an HDMI cable, and a Composite Video cable (use if you do not have an HDMI port). Absolutely everything you need is included except for two "AAA" batteries for the remote.

Contrary to the one negative review posted - I found the quality of the images are great and it is highly responsive to the remote control. I am absolutely thrilled with it.

After checking out the first unit - I immediately ordered four more. Exactly what I need!

Everything that I wanted this unit to do worked well. I had one issue that I couldn't make work at first until I discovered why. I couldn't advance pictures using the remote. I eventually learned to NOT point the remote towards the media player, but instead point it vertically up to the ceiling. It works fine doing that. Not intuitive.

Streaming movies and TV series from providers such as �鶹�� Prime is fine and great, but if you're like me and started collecting movies way back when streaming wasn't a thing yet, you probably have a large collection of movies gathering dust on an external hard drive somewhere. And some of these could be so unique that you would have a hard time finding them on a streaming service. This is where a media player such as this one comes in very handy. It is pretty straight forward to plug it to your TV. Even the HDMI cable is included, even though the manual says it's not. One thing really not included is the batteries for the remote control, but that's ok, it's cheaper to buy a couple of AAA batteries than a HDMI cable. The included manual is pretty nice and describes adequately all the features of the device. This can play most common formats for video files, such as mkv, avi, mp4. I have also tried less common formats, just to see. It will not play iso files (DVD rips), but it will play webm files (which is the kind of files I get when downloading a youtube video). You can, however, play music files on it, if you're inclined to use your TV for music, and can also view pictures saved either on your USB device or a microSD card. There is also a very handy file manager built-in, which you can use to delete, rename or move files and folders around, so you don't need to plug your USB device back to your computer to do these operations. A very useful media player, recommended!

Bon lecteur, lit toute les types de fichier vidéo, audio h264 h265 sans problème,
aucun décalage de son. Permet de continuer là où est rendu lorsqu'on repart un film. Menu simple a
utiliser, télécommande simple qui permet de changer directement la bande audio
et les sous titres. Seule problème c'est que quand ont l'étain il y a toujours
du courant dans le port USB, ce qui peut endommager un disque dur a la longue.
Pour remédier au problème j'ai mis une rallonge USB avec interrupteur pour couper le courant.
J'ai enlevé une étoile a cause du courant qui ne coupe pas lorsque fermé.

My Roku "smart" TV was apparently too old to play my HEVC/H.265 video files. This media player was the exact solution I needed. It's funny how I didn't even know such a thing existed until I searched for it.

It does everything I need it to do: plays my .mkv files, displays subtitles, and can shuffle the order in which the files play. The remote requires AAA batteries, which aren't included so have those on hand if you plan on buying this.

Can read USB drives up to 8TB and MicroSD up to 1.TB. BUT, I used a 1.5TB MicroSD inserted into a USB reader and it worked just fine.

That's about it. Imma go marathon my favorite childhood cartoons now. 👍

Well the first thing I noticed is it’s pretty basic and pretty cheap. That said it’s worked fine for the time I’ve had it and expect that it’ll last for a long time. I normally don’t have issues with items like this but sometimes the simpler things like this have less to go wrong. If you’re looking for this type of device but don’t want to spend a bunch of money then I think this one will be fine. Enjoy watching!
