    Watching the dubbed japanese movies I realise how empty they feel without the english music or themes from the shows. Despite my disappointment with that, this has the highest quality of the original american film, much better than an old vhs rip. The bloopers reel was a lot of fun.     If you grew up watching the Digimon movie you will love this. I have watched the Digimon movie more time than I can count over the years and it still brings me great nostalgia to this day.

    I had always wanted to see the different segments the way they were intended and the way they came out in japan, and now I'm able to legitimately watch them that way.

    They even brought back the original cast minus the two actors who had unfortunately passed away over the last couple of years to redub the English dub for this movie/collection.

    I cannot believe they actually did this and I will be forever grateful to be able to have had the opportunity to buy it

    It's a pretty good movie. Got some good songs to it and the big fight against Diaboromon. Though the animation isn't quite as good as the show

    Warning: Segments 1 and 2 are canon, having been referenced in Seasons 1 and 2 of the show, respectively, but Segment 3 is not because Gatomon can digivolve to Angewomon, but in the show doesn't regain the ability to do this until such a time as the other Digimon can Digivolve, or even DNA Digivolve, plus Ken would be there at that time and he isn't.

    I'll admit, when it originally came to cinemas, I didn't go to see it because I was a Pokémon fan, but I grew into Digimon. I do love the film and the humour of it, but then again, I am a big child and still have the same interests I had when I was younger. I can't fault the film, although it would've been nice to have scenes cut out from the English dub as well as Japanese dubbing and subtitles. If you watch the Japanese AND the English, you'll realise they're very different films due to what's been cut out and what the Japanese actually say. I'd of liked to have had both just to see the comparison, but I can see why it wasn't included. The Japanese version is much darker (Tai and Kari's dad is an alcoholic that comes home drunk late at night?). Over all, I do love this film, and so does my friend, hence why I bought two copies!
