There's a reason why it's cheap. You may have to put two layers. Make sure the weather is cool enough, otherwise you'll make a mess. The butyl tape is sometimes dead stuck to the paper backing.

    I can't vouch for the other reviews of people getting damaged tape but mine was very nicely boxed with protection all around the box from keeping it getting crushed. All my rolls were literally perfect. The tape seemed like it was advertised as the correct size, as long as you roll it out with the backing paper on still, it will remain that size. Keep this stuff in the AC while your not using it. The backing will come right off if you do this but if your storing it outside and trying to peel the backing paper off after it's been sitting in the 100° sun, yea its going to be a problem lol
