Excellent zinc cream. Just like in the tube. I use it for eczema skin care for myself. Heals up my real problem areas in two weeks or less. But the best thing I love is that it works for the insane itchy areas. Works almost instantly and keeps the itch away for about 8 to 12 hours for me. Gamechanger. No I don’t like the smell of it, but I would rather feel better and put up with the scent. Highly recommend it. Thank you.

I think this is a great value for the size..it's absolutely huge. I actually bought this to protect skin and help with other skin issues, not diaper rash. Mine, like the rest, doesn't have an inner seal which I don't love, it just had the clear tape which opened so easily I'm not sure it's protecting anything, so something for them to keep in mind. I actually used this on bug bites this past weekend that were swollen on my kid, and it made a big difference.

This a a pound of rash cream in a jar with a twist off lid. The product arrived with the tape seal broken and no inner seal as with most products of this nature.

The cream is lighter than the older rash cream I have used. It glides on very easily and has a very minor scent that is not unpleasant, does smell like most zinc oxide cream, which is to be expected.

At time of review, this was $25 CAD, about 25% more than the next leading brand of the same size jar. This comes from a trusted brand that I have used for years, so it surprised me a lot to have it arrive without the safety seal on the top of the jar and with the side tape broken.

I did try this on my own skin, and it is soft, smooth feeling, does take a very long time to absorb, which is the preferred outcome as the zinc is forming a barrier to prevent liquid getting to the skin. I did find it very soothing on some bug bites. I just hesitate to use it on such a sensitive area of a baby, not knowing if the jar had been altered in anyway due to the lack of the safety seal. I do not think anything specific happened to the jar, but the lid came off easily, and I cannot say for sure what might have happened during shipping.

I am surprised and disappointed that a brand who so usually has super high standards, released this product in this manner.

This is a zinc oxide based diaper rash cream, so apparently it can be used by adults as well, not just babies.

I found the smell kind of weird, but others like it, so I guess that is subjective.

The cream itself rubs on and spreads easily. It leaves a white/gray layer. For diaper rashes that is not a problem, but if you apply it elsewhere, it would be clearly visible.

Getting it off is difficult, which may be an advantage for diaper rashes. But I applied some to my hands and when I wanted to wash it off, I had to use soap a few times, so it is a bit hard to get off. It helped with a mosquito bite for me, so it seems to work too.

Unfortunately, I am unable to use the product I received as it arrived open. The plastic wrap (standard to prevent spills during transport) was ripped open, and the safety seal along the side of the jar was cut, and there is no internal top seal. It is likely safe to use, but given that this is a product absorbed by the skin, I am not willing to take the risk of tampering.

I have purchased and used this same product previously, however. It is created for baby skin to soothe diaper rash, and I have some mom friends who use it on their babies, but I use this on my (adult) skin to soothe my eczema-flared skin. During a flare, my skin becomes very dry, flaky, red and inflamed, and worst of all, itchy. Like, ITCHY. This cream offers some relief. It's a very gentle formula, despite having a scent to it (not sweet or artificial but something like you expect of baby products). It's thick, and the moisture lasts hours. It's a bit of a mess to apply, as it doesn't absorb like a traditional moisturizer, and it can stain clothing. That being said, it soothes the skin, so I'm willing to tolerate.

I bought a large container of this cream because it works so well for my baby’s sensitive bottom. Unfortunately it doesnt have a inner foil seal and the outside seal (just a clear piece of tape) was broken when I received it. From what Ive researched this particular product doesnt come with an inner seal which makes me nervous to use at all.
The product is still working well but I find the process of unscrewing the large jar everytime to be annoying and inconvenient compared to the smaller sized tubes. The cream has a non offensive odour and spreads on nicely. Love the product but dont care for the packaging!
