    Our 4,000 sq. ft. home battles mold constantly. This dehumidifier’s 50-pint/day capacity keeps our open kitchen, basement, and three bathrooms dry even during storms. I use CONT mode for the basement (set to 45% RH) and DRY mode after showers – works faster than our old unit. Downsides? The 0.66-gallon tank fills up every 8-10 hours in peak humidity, so I ended up using the hose for continuous drainage. Setup took 15 mins (wish the manual had clearer diagrams), but once running, it’s been reliable.

    Whoa, I checked this thing after a few days and the tank was almost full—turns out my room was way more humid than I thought! Over the next week, I kept running it and dumping the water, and man, I couldn’t believe how much moisture it was pulling out. The difference was crazy—no more stuffy air or that gross damp feeling. Now I can actually relax in there for hours without feeling uncomfortable.

    As a remote worker in Portland, I needed something silent for my 300 sq. ft. office/bedroom combo. This one works good and really quiet. DEHU mode is great for my plant shelf. Used it in the garage during also a good choice
