I had the HUGE Lite-Brite with the full-sized lightbulb when I was a kid. Remember how hot that used to get? Memories, lol! We used to LOVE playing with our Lite-Brite. I was thinking of those memories and looked on �鶹�� on a whim, in hopes to share those memories with my teen. I was so excited to see this Disney version, since we are a huge Disney family. This new version of the Lite-Brite did not disappoint! It was so fun to do together as a family. The pictures are super cool and the colors are beautiful! The lighting aspect doesn't appear that bold when you are in a bright space but take it in the dark and you will see how truly strong the lighting is, with four different light modes to choose from. It is also much more compact than the version we had as kids, which is a huge plus. The only comment I would make is that there are exactly enough pegs to complete a picture, not really any extras, so be careful not to lose any pegs. Also, I would suggest that if you are able, make color copies of the Disney paper inserts, because once you poke the holes and complete a picture, you will not be able to redo that particular picture again. If you have copies, you will be able to enjoy doing the pictures again and again.

UPDATE - I had someone ask which characters came with this Lite Brite, which I thought would be a good thing to include in my review. I have attached a photo of the back of the box so that you can see the templates of which characters are actually included. They are Mickey, Minnie, Dumbo, Cinderella, Goofy, Donald, Woody & Buzz, Ariel, Pluto, Simba, Tinkerbell, and a Disney castle template.

2ND UPDATE - For those that asked the size of the pictures, they are 8” wide x 7” high.

Dommage un petit retour dans mon enfance un peu gâcher. ce jeu fonctionne bien mis à part que la lumière avec les feuilles ne transperce pas donc on défini pas trop le dessin ni les couleurs ,quand on na fini le dessin il faut enlever les pions un par un . I loved Lite-Brite as a kid and when I saw this Disney edition was really excited…yes I’ve never grown up! However unlike the old one when you turn the light on it doesn’t shine through the paper and actually makes seeing the design very hard as it has to be kept under a screen/lid. In order for the lights to shine through, you have to push the pin down. Compared to some prices I had seen this is reasonable but I just don’t think it’s worth the money. If I got this as a kid now I would be very disappointed. Come on Lite-Brite make it like it used to be and not put a fabric film behind the holes!
