- Reviewed in Canada on June 17, 2025Verified PurchaseWorks as it should. So far very happy with my purchase.
- Reviewed in Canada on June 1, 2025Verified PurchaseI can’t believe how long the batteries last. Multi setting for force and adjustable nail size so if we want to use it for siding it fits that job too. We are over the moon thrilled
- Reviewed in Canada on August 25, 2024Verified PurchaseHave done 2 roofs with this and sided my garage with the siding tip adapters, rented an air one for my helper and this didn’t jam near as much. I’m not a professional roofer just do side jobs and it goes quick enough for me. Siding with it was worth it alone as I sided my garage by myself. Made it quicker and a lot less painful
- Reviewed in Canada on March 6, 2025Verified PurchaseDid not honor warranty. Broke in 32 days so they didn't replace. Took half a year to get back from repairs. Was in worse condition. Sent it back, it's now March the following year and still don't have it back. Refused renewal of warranty or replacement.
- Reviewed in Canada on July 8, 2024Verified PurchaseGood product to avoid hose lines on roof. Bought a second

5.0 out of 5 stars works great
Verified Purchaseworks great. not even one jam after using all day. used BHTOP coil nails from amazon. easy to load. small 20V battery lasted all day. unit is a bit heavy but saves a lot of annoyance working with pneumatic or corded tools. highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid
Verified PurchaseSmacks nails fast and hard runs well with standard nails. I ran 1-1/2" nails out of it. Does tend to hit hard, I had to back out the adjuster all the way on mine to get the setting right.
These aren't cheap tools but they deliver on power and performance.
Battery life is going to be less on these than the old version as the tool runs for about 5 seconds after pressing the foot down. But this does increase the performance of the tool as the flywheel stays at peak for longer. Much more consistent nail delivery than the old design.
These are built to last. I treat mine like little babies, wipe them down kiss there booboos and tuck them in with a bedtime song but even if you beat them up they'll stand up to the punishment. Don't drop it off the roof onto cement but that's too much to expect from any tool.
All of these flywheel tools are large and heavy. Be prepared for a bit of lugging, but no cords and no hoses is a benefit that a bit of extra weight is worth.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great dewalt tool.
Verified PurchaseI used it to roof my house. Like all my dewalt cordless guns, it worked great. It shoots hard. Had to dial it back all the way possible to keep from shooting through the shingle. One fully charged battery lasted pretty much all day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great DeWalt Addition
Verified PurchaseI have many DeWalt tools that use the common 20v battery. I love them all including this roofing nailer. It is very powerful and adjustable. I am not a professional roofer. Just a home owner that needs to repair sections of roof at times. I would recommend it for that purpose.
