Absolutely love this machine saving space for have 2 types of machines. My girlfriend loves the coffee pot side as for me the espresso is fantastic. If you clean it after every use which isn't hard I have no complaints the red floater is nice letting you know when the bottom tray is full. It's very stylish actually makes my kitchen pop out more. Decided to get the matching coffee grinder as well people mentioned it didn't grind fine enough for the espresso but it grinds perfectly at the fine setting great combo to get!

    This machine is a safety hazard. It randomly turns on and off by itself. I heard beeping every 15 seconds or so in the early hours of the morning and wasn’t sure what it was. When I got up a short while later, the coffee machine was turned on and hot with nothing in it. I recall this happened during the day once too, but I didn’t think too much of it. I thought it was strange, but I had cleaned the touch screen not too long before it happened and thought maybe it was wet or something from the cloth.
    When I contacted the manufacturer, they did not care at all about the safety issue. They told me my warranty was up and offered a discount if I wanted to upgrade within 30 days.
    I have submitted a complaint with consumer safety Canada.

    For the first 6 months I enjoyed this product. At about 6 months the drip coffee function began to fail with the pump not properly maintaining the flow of water during brewing. It would intermittently take 45 minutes to brew a poor pot of coffee with most of the water evaporating ending up with 5 cups of way to strong coffee brewed out of 10 cups of water.

    I spoke with Delongie support who immediately determined it would need to be replaced and I would get notification of shipment within 5 days. 5 days came and went so I called back and nothing had shipped due to stock issues. Long story short I had to contact them 9 times and escalate to 2 supervisors in order to get this resolved with three broken fragments that a new unit was being shipped all with one week delays. .

    Props to supervisor Terrell who finally took ownership of my issues after a month of being given the run around. Everyone else I dealt with by email or through call completely dropped the ball. If I had gotten the support Terrell gave me from day one I would give this a 5 star however his great support didn't happen until a huge the end of a month long escalation.

    I am so far, very happy to say I am very happy to have this new machine!

    1. Received it Feb 27th, 2023. Earlier than expected delivery date. Started using the morning of Feb 28th.

    2. It was not a repackaged used machine that slipped through the cracks like it appeared to have in so many of the recent comments!!!!! Thinking wherever those people are that got a repackaged used machine, must be serviced by an 鶹 facility that has employees that don't care!!! To them, if they read this, always let 鶹 know!!!

    3. I drink MEDAGLIA D'ORO, which is Espresso Italian Roast ground coffee. For that, cannot use the screen filter that comes with the machine. Need to use the #4 filters which fit perfectly.

    4. Have not tried the Espresso side yet, but performing the initial setup per the instructions, everything worked beautifully and easily. There were no leaks.

    5. I place the machine on two layers of paper towels (4 sheets, folded in half) which fit the footprint of the machine almost perfectly. In other words, the footprint on the machine fits inside 2 sheets of Bounty paper towels.

    USING THE COFFFEE SIDE:

    One of the first things I noticed is the design of the Carafe. Either it needs an improved design, or the current design is to prevent any coffee grind sludge, that made it down from the drip, from pouring into your coffee cup/mug/tumbler. There is about a teaspoon or less, that cannot be poured out.

    I use the Bold enabled button and seems to work well for boosting the flavor of the coffee.

    The touch buttons are a nice touch... no brute force needed for turning any knobs or pressing actual buttons... fewer moving parts means fewer mechanical failures.

    I set the clock on the machine on Thursday, March 2nd, and today, March 4th, I noticed it was a minute behind already. Not a real bad thing, as it is easier to set the clock forward a few minutes due to it being slightly slow, than resetting the time back because it runs to fast.

    As for the filter and the reservoir for the coffee side, I wish the reservoir was removable like it is for the espresso side. Making it easier to clean than. And as for the filter, I'll need to try and keep track of when that needs to be changed. Meaning have to set some reminder someplace "Check coffee reservoir filter to replace", gee... as if there aren't enough other reminders in life to list and keep track of!!! LOL

    I have not changed the default time for the warmer to turn off, as I am turning off the machine after the coffee is done dripping.

    OH... something I didn't see mentioned is... The machine has a BEEP (not loud) when done with the dripping. That is a nice touch if you are still in proximity to the machine. I like that as a reminder!!!

    I did but the machine looked so pretty and had multiple functions, so I ignored the reviews and clear warnings!

    So I bought this coffee machine July 2021 for my husband’s anniversary. Yayyy, but NO!

    From the beginning we had issues:
    Malfunction #1- It started when we went to make an espresso and water just kept pouring out, machine never stopped on its own. We had to manually shut it off.

    Malfunction #2- Went to use the froth for capuchino. Never steamed but started to smell like something was on fire. This awful burnt smell kept rising stronger and stronger - like an electrical fire was about to happen. So fear made us stop using that feature-period!

    Ok, so we decided no espressos or cappuccinos

    Malfunction #3- About 1 year in, the machine periodically would turn itself on automatically by making this loud motorized noise. Before purchasing, I had read reviews about this same noise and electrical issue , but ignored it!

    Malfunction #5 - The clock display would started to countdown and after every 20 min or so, then this loud motorized noise would start. (Sounded like a grinding noise) The only way to stop the noice was to unplug the machine from the wall outlet. We were afraid to leave home with our coffee maker plugged in for fear it might burn the house down:(
    By this time, we called the company, they took my info, however nothing was done, no refund, no replacement, nothing!

    Malfunction #5- Finally, after plugging in the coffee pot section in the outlet each morning and brewing a pot of coffee, this feature finally died too. It just stopped dripping. Placed the coffee in the filter, poured the water in the chamber and nothing happened.
    So we finally threw the coffee machine in the garbage!

    So this coffee machine may be good for <6months! Ask yourself is $250.00 worth it!

    The reason we held on to this coffee machine for so long is because we did NOT want to waste our money. We tried to get as much as we could out of this purchase. Should of wrote this review sooner.

    Leí malas reseñas y tuve duda en comprarla, pero a pesar de eso la quería y la pedí y no me arrepiento. Creo que las personas que han escrito malas reseñas es porque no saben leer el instructivo o no saben cómo preparar cafe; pero el espumador de leche está genial la máquina para hacer espresso de muy buena calidad y el americano sale con un sabor tan delicioso y ademas es programable; Así que entre semana antes de irme a trabajar, ya tengo mi cafe americano preparado y fines de semana, me consiento con un capuchino o un late
    Soy la más feliz
