    I've heard that a few people have had unwanted noise issues with this unit.
    Personally I've had no noise problems at all. That said I put a ferrite choke on the ground approximately 3" from the dsp and I'm using audioquest tower rca's 2'. So far I'm very impressed with this dsp! The software for windows is a breeze to set up. Atm I'm using it with Focal access 2way passive and in the near future will be running 3way active again with the Focal 165AS 3.

    Ich hatte vorher von Alpine die PXA-H700 und 701.
    Im gro?en und ganzen kann der Dayton 408 mit(!) dem zus?tzlichem BT Modul und der Bassfernbedinung das gleiche fr wesentlich weniger Geld. Abstriche sind nur die Anschlussm?glichkeiten, wobei ich aber dazu sagen muss das ich auch beim Alpine nur die 2 analogen Aux in benutzt habe. Alles andere l?uft in der Regel ber die Headunit.
    Die Dayton App fr das Handy ist absolut ok und kann 1 zu 1 das selbe wie das PC Programm.
    Vieleicht noch einen kleinen Minuspunkt der aber nur fr Spielfreudige Menschen ernstzunehmend ist. Ich h?tte mir gewnscht die Laufzeit ber die seperat erh?ltliche Fernbedienung steuern zu k?nnen. Das geht zwar auch per App aber halt doch etwas zu leichtg?ngig und etwas ungenau wenn man ein wenig mit dem Geh?r nachbessern will. Manchmal bleibt ein Drehr?dchen halt doch besser als ein Touch Display.
    Ich habe den Dsp sowohl im Auto als auch zuhause fr den Aktiv Betrieb ausprobiert.
    Alles in allem 4 Sterne. Preis Leistung eher 5

    If you're not using this for your subwoofer, you're missing out100%.

    Subwoofers are never naturally flat in response, which often leads to a boomy peak between 35-70Hz while completely missing the deep low-end. Thats where the Dayton DSP-408 comes init lets you precisely tune your sub for a truly flat response and unlock the deep bass youre meant to hear.

    I run a Rockford Fosgate Punch 15" P3 in a small sealed enclosure, which gives me tight, controlled bass but normally rolls off around 37Hz, just as Rockford Fosgate states. My amp has a 30Hz bass boost, which helped extend it slightly, but with the DSP-408, I was able to dial it all the way down to 23Hzsomething I never thought I could do in such a compact box.

    Best part? My wife is happy since I dont need a massive enclosure to get deep bass. Instead, I just fine-tuned the response with this DSP to get that ultra-low, clean, and powerful basswithout the extra bulk. If you want true control over your sub, this is a must-have. ?

    Firstly, no ground loop issues as other reviews have mentioned, if humming, engine whine or buzzing is an issue then the installation really needs to be investigated, most likely caused by poor or inadequate ground connections. Used this to replace a faulty Bit10. Have to say I prefer it, easy to install and the software is quite good, if you know what you're doing then it's quite quick to get it all up and running. Only downside is the availability of the remote control which is an optional item....would like to see it included as can't find one anywhere.
