This is a great little studio strobe for the price. Has all the basic functionality that you need in a small studio setup, if you don’t mind not having TTL and HSS, and it fully integrates with the Godox ecosystem. It can even be controlled and triggered via the Godox app on my iPhone. All you need is a Bluetooth-enabled Godox flash trigger on your camera. This is incredibly useful if like me, you use a flash meter, as you can trigger the flash from the subjects position independently of the camera. I liked it so much that I bought a second one. Happy that Godox makes these products affordable to mere mortals. Seller also included the reflector, which is normally sold separately at a not insignificant cost. This is why the box you get will have been opened. Oh, and you can be confident that 300 ws is plenty of power for most small studio uses.

Ich bin davon sehr begeistert, im kleineren Rahmen sind sie sicher auch problemlos professionell gut nutzbar. Ein sehr guter Einstieg in die Welt der anspruchsvolleren Belichtung, und bei dem Preis auch weitgehend risikofrei.

Ich hatte davor 2 Speedlites, womit ich schon recht gute Ergebnisse hatte, aber ein Modellierungslicht und die kürzeren Cycle Times sind sehr hilfreich, außerdem ist es sehr angenehm, ohne Rücksicht auf Batterien, Standby etc. mehrere Stunden durcharbeiten zu können. Positiv anzumerken ist auch, dass der Weißwert des Blitzes recht konstant ist, für diese Preisklasse keine Selbstverständlichkeit.

Teurere Strobes würde ich empfehlen, wenn man:
- ein robusteres Gehäuse braucht (das Plastik hier ist zwar recht solide, aber kann bei einem Sturz vom Stativ vmtl. schon kaputt gehen)
- größere Distanzen in Hallen/Open Air hat
- Bursts benötigt
- nicht auf TTL-Messungen verzichten will
- Nutzung ohne Netzanschluss braucht

Paar weitere kleinere Einschränkungen:
- Der Weißwert und die Geometrie des Modellierungslichts sind nicht perfekt, aber gut genug, dass man damit arbeiten kann.
- Die Helligkeit des Modellierungslichts kann nur auf Maximum oder proportional zur Blitzstärke gesetzt werden, nicht auf einen statischen Wert. Für mich ist Modellierungslicht zum Arbeiten und Gestalten, Blitz zur Belichtung des Fotos, die benötigte Lichtstärke hängt von völlig unterschiedlichen Faktoren ab.
- Der Lüfter müsste vmtl. nicht permanent laufen, ist aber leise genug, dass er nicht stört.
- Bei einer Reduktion der Leistung entlädt sich der Kondensator nicht selbst, so dass man evtl. überbelichtet, wenn man nicht manuell entlädt. Warnanzeige auf dem Display ist vorhanden, sofern man darauf schaut…
