Because the ball joint, this dashboard car phone holder can rotate 360 degrees, which means you can use your phone in landscape or portrait mode. In addition, you can adjust your smartphone to find the best angle for viewing and touching your phone.

Suitable for all Road Conditions

The goosneck arms and bottom legs of the car mount are equipped with shock-absorbing foam pads, which can keep your phone securely in place, you don't have to worry about your phone falling off when driving on uneven roads.

Step 1. Clean

Find a flat, smooth area on the board, clean and dry the mounting surface with a cloth.

Step 2.Peel off the Protective Film

Remove the protective film from the suction cup and stabilizer respectively, and then secure them firmly to the dashboard.

Step 2.Lock the Suction Cup

Push the lever down to lock the suction cup and then press the stabilizer for 10 seconds to make sure it is firmly attached.

Step 4. Remove

To remove the suction cup, simply unlock the lever and slowly pull the small tab. Note: Do not pull the holder directly.

This product did not work for even 5 seconds. The moment it arrived my husband said it would not be good. I thought he was just being a hater. He started removing the adhesive in the kitchen and I was like “wait till we’re in the car- you don’t even know how this thing is supposed to work”. We got in the car to install it and it did not stick whatsoever. I chucked it in the backseat and my husband asked why I was having a fit. I said “you jinxed the thing from the get go and next time you should buy the stupid thing. Then and I said “just drop me off at the tacos place where I’m meeting my friends for dinner”. Imagine my predicament - I needed the mapping on my phone but the whole thing (phone and arm) had tipped over and dropped to the floor. No way was I going to try to bend down and besides, I couldn't have reached it. I had to continue driving as is without mapping guidance. Very unsettling.
I don't know if it makes a difference, but now when I know I need the phone for mapping, I unlock and lock the adhesive cup of the holder before I start driving. Hoping that helps secure the holder and no repeat of the phone crashing to the floor.
For this reason, I downgraded from 4 stars to 3 stars. It's great as long as it holds.
ORIGINAL: The product was securely wrapped in a cardboard box and everything included as advertised. (Thank you to previous reviewers who cautioned taking time to determine where and how you want to position the phone holder on your dashboard.) You will want to consider carefully the distance and angle where the holder hangs in front of the vents and vis-à-vis the driver's seat. Only after this careful consideration should you start to bend the flexible cord, because it will be "impossible" to adjust after you stick the holder on the dashboard. I also used masking tape to mark (or frame) the spot where I wanted to stick the suction base.
