    As a whole the kit worked, it may have some downsides, but they can be fixed and that's what you get for ordering online. All in all though as of now the main pieces seem like they will last and I greatly appreciate that the elastics aren't just rubber bands so they won't dry out and snap super easily and quickly.
    The needles in the kit unfortunately had many burs from the casting process in their eyes so I only actually ended using about half of them because of the worry of wearing the thread I used
    The wooden circle that goes under the repair was well made and completely sanded without risk of catching any fabric. However, the metal piece was unfortunately not as well constructed as while one side was smooth the other side had a lip that I had to file to avoid it damaging any fabric. Lastly, of the 3 long needles 2 of them had blunted tips to the point I almost wondered if someone had taken a hammer to them.
    Side note: The plastic bag it came in had a rip and a hole and the cork was out of my vial of needles so if you get it when it arrives I'd check to make sure nothing fell out.

    I have problems with my hands and holding a darning mushroom causes pain, so I thought I'd give this a go. I'm going to find a sharper needle than the long one provided as it didn't like the thin jersey I tested it out with, but once set up the loom was easy to use and produced a good result, without hurting my hands. The instructions provided aren't great, but there are videos out there showing them in use.
