    If you’re replacing this part, welcome to my nightmare. I’ve replaced this part 5 times now because the little plastic piece that stops the water flow eventually becomes warped by the hot water and fails to block the water flow when turned off. Just a poorly designed product. Unfortunately your options are continue to replace it or break the wall and re-plumb the shower.

    I purchased this valve repair cartridge(DANZE DA603566 Washerless Cartridge Square Stem for 1H Tub & Shower, Brushed Nickel) on Sept. 29 2022 and everything was fantastic. Installed easily and fixed my drip,drip,drip problem. Well here we are Dec. 4 2020 and this shower valve has become hard to turn. I'de say twice the force as when first installed. Almost as if it needs some sort of lubrication on the valve "seats" (rubber o rings) which I didn't see mentioned anywhere. Has anyone else experienced this ?? Worked fine for 2 months ???????
