In this box, you’ll get two packages, including the macaroni in a bag and the cheese-like sauced in a sealed bag. Note that for the meal to be gluten-free, the maracony are brown riced made, and to mimic the cheese, the sauce is actually coco oil made (vegan flavored). Get my full review on my blog!     We've tried a handful of dairy alternatives for our baby with allergies, naturally we taste check. This is by far the best tasting mac and cheese we've gotten. Does it taste real, absolutely not, is it edible, yes. We ordered 4 more boxes. Taste is expected to be different but it's pretty good considering the circumstances. The sauce is pre-made as well so that saves a step when you are having to make multiple versions of the same meal.

    Being celiac has made making mac and cheese for my grandson impossible. Then I found the Daiya mac and cheese and now have a very happy grandson. We both love the taste and the very cheesy sauce.     I have celiac disease and a legit dairy allergy. I loved the original version of this. Tasted like a good “cheese” sauce and the noodles were like conventional wheat pasta when cooked a bit longer. Then they changed the pasta and revamped the cheese sauce to include oats and not only are the oats not purity protocol, it just tastes like bland salty sauce on gritty pasta. Even the new “cheese” packet in the vegan KD is better and if you’ve tried that, that’s saying something (hint: it’s sweet. Literally.)

    I'm fairly new to being dairy-free and have been trying to find good options out there, and I can honestly say this mac n cheese isn't that bad! I don't really enjoy it fully on its own as it's got a heavy after taste but if you add something into it then it can make a really nice dish :) it's also a pretty generous amount which is good for the price.

    My son is on a special food plan and I bought this to try it out . Its very creamy and cheesy I tired it as well and I really liked it you couldn't tell it was vegan gluten free and lactose free. He loves it so I buy it alot . Its more expensive then regular KD but I think its worth it there is no funny after taste you get with some GF products.

I don't usually add salt to my food, maybe thats why I found it do salty. But is absolutely no reason for one little box of mac and cheese to have that much sodium. Unfortunately, the seller forces people to buy 2 boxes at a time (WHY?) Silo I'm stuck with an extra box. The other kind, also forced to buy 2, is worse than this one. If you are watching your salt intake, skip this one.

    I bought this product for both my sister and me, who try to eat allergen-low foods. I will DEFinitely buy again. The sauce is what got me. I cook with wheat-free pasta all the time, but have not been able to make a dairy free sauce that is this delicious and creamy. Sometimes you just crave some comfort food and this definitely meets that need.... Nice to find some low-allergen food that is hassle free AND yummy.
