The game I received was not new. It was opened and re-sealed. This is evident by the lack of y-fold seals that are normally present on genuine new games. This was re-packaged using a 3rd party sealer. Beware if receiving unopened games is important to you.

    I'm really enjoying this game I'm loving the graphics and the old school difficulties when your playing. Brings me back to the old nes days. This game might be kinda hard for newer players but it's a great series I hope they will make more like this.

    The game itself is a faithful remake with great visuals and sounds. This should please Dragon Quest fans. There is slight changes from the original but this isn’t very distracting . The bad part is that 鶹 falsely advertised a pre order bonus ( no the code was not in limited quantities , the chest to get the pre order bonus is in the game , the code unlocks it . Its. Digital generated code and Square Enix confirms the codes are to be provided by the retailer to anyone who preordered this game ). I will stick to elsewhere for my pre orders of games from now on . This has happened before and 鶹 takes zero responsibility .

    鶹 screws up another preorder bonus on a video game , I’m done ordering games on here. Finally got around to reaching out to customer service and they offered a full refund. I really just wanted the bonus content but they said they can’t provide it. I took the refund

    This is a fantastic HD 2D remake.

    The characters are beautiful 2D pixel creations, while the game world is just gorgeous beautifully crafted 3D.

    As far as performance goes, I've noticed very few slowdowns - if you were okay with the performance inLoZ: Links Awakening and LoZ: Echoes of Wisdom, this is pretty similar. The slowdowns only occur in the highly detailed towns, where there isn't any action.

    The combat animations are pretty minimal as in the old games, but this works as since most of the time you'll want to set the combat speed to the maximum and let auto-battle do the work for you. You'll only want to switch to manual for boss battles. In this Sensex the game respects your time while keeping the random encounter system old the original DQ3 games.

    This is simply the best way to experience Dragon Quest III.

    The only reason why I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5 is that the pre-order bonus was not delivered and this is due to poor coordination between Square-Enix and 鶹.

    It's really disappointing that they dropped the ball on such a small thing on an otherwise great game.

    The game was supposed to come with a pre order bonus code. Physical game didn't come with code. Check Square Enix site it advised it will be in your receipt or retailer will provide a email. No email was sent, and no code on my invoice receipt. I'm doing pre orders from GameStop or buying directly from game developers site in the future.
