Works exactly as it should, bust herbs and spices extremely efficiently. Not as loud as my other one but works even better. The only gripe I have with this grinder is that you have to turn the lid to clamp it on, which I knew before purchasing, but still a bit annoying. All in all it works perfectly and I am very happy with this grinder. Also comes with a brush and scoop combo.

Edit: After a few weeks of daily use the buster is still working amazing. Still my only gripe is the twist on lid. It gets a little sticky and makes it hard to twist to connect, which you need to do in order for it to work. Works amazing, lid is just a pain sometimes.

Wow! This was so much better than I expected. I ordered it because our previous grinder was loud and messy and had seen its day. At such a reasonable price, I didn't expect this grinder to be anything special—but it's so good! I'll now create a list of its swell features:
• It's quiet (for a coffee grinder)
• It's solidly made
• Its one-piece stainless-steel grinding compartment makes it easy to clean
• Its large capacity lets you grind a whole pot of coffee at once
• You can watch the beans being ground through the transparent lid, so it's easy to create the grind you want
• It has a generously long cord (though we keep most of it wrapped up in the convenient base)
• It has a fun name
Really, I don't think you can go wrong with this one. It's an excellent value.

Im basing my rating on the grinder working the way it should in the future. The grinder looks good and it’s operation simple. I was extremely happy with the overall purchase until....using the grinder for coffee beans and on the 3rd use over 2 days the motor overheated and stopped working while grinding the second bowl of beans for a 12 cup coffee maker. Once the motor cooled down it worked again when I tried it empty the next day. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again or I’ll return it and obviously change my rating. No way a motor should overheat grinding coffee beans considering it takes less than 10 seconds of operation.
***UPDATE*** DO NOT BUY THIS GRINDER. The motor is poor quality. I've replaced this grinder with a similarly priced Lagostina and there is absolutely no comparison in quality and speed in favor of the Lagostina. Now I feel like I've been ripped off by Dr.Mills

This maybe a little long....but a good item needs time. Some of the past reviews can be daunting but i decided to try it for myself and I'm not disappointed, its perfect for what i need it for. OK...before I go further, just in case your wondering, what on earth is that stuff being ground to powder, the dried fruit you see in my video, is from the carribean called (stinking toe) it's packed with healthy natural properties...too many to go into, the reason why it's called stinking toe is because of its shape, they are shaped like a huge toe, the stinking part of the name is because when you break the hard shell, some ppl say it smells like cheesy feet lol, I think the smell is of aniseed after a while.
Anyway, I have been using the powder in everything, smoothies, cooking etc. In the past, I had been grounding the fruit into powder using a pulse and mortar, which then causes the palms of my hands to swell up for 2-3 days after, due to a condition I suffer from. I saw this grinder and thought to give it a try......well, wow, I'm sooo chuffed to bits......pulse and mortar is out the window.......actually nah, it was expensive lol. Not only is this machine not too loud, even though it may sound loud in the video, then it's so quick. It took me hrs to grind down the fruit by hand but with this grinder, within seconds the jobs done nice and fine ready to sive into the jar......love it. Easy to clean, just use a damp cloth and give the compartment a good clean out, you also get a little scooper/brush with it and that's easy clean also, i had no issues with the lid as some past reviews stated it was fiddly, even when using 1 hand in the video, i was holding the camera in my other hand, np with securing the lid. As a prime customer delivery was next day and price wise, I thought it was a good price.....yup, I'm well pleased with this device.
