Interior Compartment: In the inner of lid, there're 2 layers of file compartments; 2 velcro straps on the both sides, the straps can be adjusted the depth to stablize the contents like your laptop, notebook, ipod or documents etc; there's other organizer sections, like pen holder, card slot, and media pocket, to contain your pen, name card, phone, calculator, charger etc.
  • 5. Lock: Double coded locks make the briefcase more safe, as it can be individually reset 2 different set of passcodes.     I had sort of hoped that the photos gave a poor impression of the case itself but it's pretty much exactly as it's pictured.

    The entire thing is very lightweight, which makes sense as it has some aluminum trim on the edges with plastic everywhere else. The handle is the biggest offender there, as it and the mounting brackets are all plastic. The sides are a thin vinyl that scratches from the slightest bump and then proudly displays the scratch for all to see.

    Inside is a little better, though it's very much synthetic fabric and vinyl leather. The rotary locks are mostly for show as they're the kind that a child could defeat simply by holding in the release latch and cycling through the wheels.

    It, to be fair, is what has been pictured. It just feels like a bigger version of that little case that came with your poker chip set. It's the kind of briefcase you'd be more likely to use to sell off-brand watches from a parking lot than anything else.

    I love the look of this "spy style" briefcase. My father had a black leather case exactly of this shape in the 70s and I love the retro feel inside with the multiple pockets and lining.

    The case is much lighter than I was expecting based on the look, although being aluminum, it makes sense that it's light weight. I appreciate the extra braces on the bottom where the two sides fold open and closed.

    You will definitely get looks and comments if you use this as a work case, and if I were still working in an office, I would enjoy using this :) Instead I plan on using it at home to store spare computer parts which are too heavy for fabric storage boxes.

    It makes me smile just to look at it. I don't normally comment too much on style since that's subjective, but since there was another review that was particularly negative about its look, I wanted to balance it out. I think it's decent quality but would like to see it a bit cheaper than $80.

    Nice briefcase, but the aluminum is on the edges only. the black part is like plastic vinyl, which lacks sturdiness. interior is fine but the lack of hardness on the case make it questionable on how useful this case will be for most. everything matches the description. feel like better suited for prop item than actual functional suitcase.
