For starters, this lamp really isn’t the gold I expected. It’s a "goldy" mustard colour with little glitter gold sparkles. When I saw this, I thought “ugh, no way” – but as I put it together (which was very simple to screw together) I ended up enjoying the overall lamp and it’s a keeper!
The bulbs are included and the glass shades screw in. I did have an issue with one of them where it didn’t screw in flush to the bracket and it did scrape against the socket and scratched the shade – so be mindful of that as you add those. I think it was a misalignment in the threads as there was nothing I could do to change it from doing this as I tried multiple times. I want to note that the base actually allows for the cord to be strung underneath the lamp base as it’s grooved so that the cord can go through it and wouldn’t be noticeable – BUT this lamp won’t allow you to do that. The cord comes out on the pole NEAR the base which is just an unfortunate likely cost cutting measure. It would look so much more polished if it were threaded properly by the manufacturer like some of my higher end lamps. I like the fact that I can dim the floor lamp and it’s a modern design.
Overall an attractive lamp.

I’m genuinely blown away by the quality of this floor lamp. From the moment I unpacked it, everything about the DMBOSS dimmable lamp felt high-end and thoughtfully designed. The gold finish looks elegant and luxurious without being too flashy, and the frosted glass shades add a soft, modern touch that makes it feel right at home in both contemporary and classic spaces.

The rotary switch is one of my favorite parts — it’s incredibly smooth and solid, not the cheap plastic kind you usually find on similar lamps. It feels well-engineered and adds to the overall premium feel of the lamp. It gives you that tactile feedback that just feels satisfying to use every time.

Another standout is the included bulbs — I honestly didn’t expect them to be this nice. They're real G9 bulbs, and they’re not your average starter bulbs either. These are bright, crisp, and have a clean, almost boutique feel when lit. The warm glow they produce, combined with the frosted glass, creates a soft and cozy light that’s perfect for evening reading or ambient lighting in the living room or bedroom.

The whole build of the lamp is solid — it stands tall and balanced with no wobbling, and it’s easy to assemble with clearly labeled parts. It looks and feels far more expensive than it actually is, which really surprised me in the best way and the covers are also solid glass and not cheap plastic covers! The knob feeling is amazing and you can adjust the brightness of the light!!

In short, this lamp exceeded every expectation I had. The design is beautiful, the materials feel premium, and the attention to detail — even down to the bulbs and the switch — makes it one of the nicest lamps I’ve ever owned. Highly, highly recommended if you're looking for something stylish, well-made, and functional.

It's a beautiful lamp. I thought that it was easy to put together and I love the bulbs. It's the perfect design for my home office, as well. The dimming feature works. I thought that it may be able to change the warmth of the light, but no, you can only change how bright it is.

Decent quality and easy to assemble - especially since the cord is already fed through the rods. One thing of note is that the pictures - while technically accurate - make it seem like it has a metallic gold finish, whereas it's metal that is gold in colour, if that makes sense. It still looks quite nice, though.

I definitely foresee the bulbs being annoying to replace in the future as this is a type I'd not encountered before, so I don't have any spares lying around should I need to replace them. I'd also have to be certain that any replacement bulbs are suitable for dimming as not all LED bulbs are. That's a future problem though, not a current one, even if I'm already thinking about it. And hey, at least it CAME with the bulbs it needed.

I *was* mildly annoyed about the excessive use of plastic and styrofoam (oh how I hate styrofoam), though I get why it was used (the plastic to reduce the chance of scratches on the metal, and the styrofoam so the glass domes would actually be intact after shipping).

End of the day, it's a decent looking and quality floor lamp that seems to be competitive in price compared to others I've looked at.
