    If you are like me the high-pitched whine of a vacuum makes it undesirable to bust out as often as you should. This one is quiet. Much less so than your home vacuum. With the stainless steel cannister, it looks clean and sharp. I haven't used bags with a shop vac before, but it makes a lot of sense and aftermarket (non-Dewalt branded) bags are available at a reasonable price. I also saw a comment from a user who opened the end of a bag, dumped it and resealed it with binder clips. He claims no reduction in performance and the ability to use a single bag ten or more times. Worth a try if you want to save some money. Can't endorse it, haven't tried, but it is probably cleaner than not using bags at all..

    Bought a house and used this to clean a filthy garage. Handled the task with ease, including getting those sticky spider webs. Also handled thick basement carpet so that I could prepare to steam it. Wheels are rubber so I am also able to use it on the hardwood without scratching the floors; had a few areas (behind the fridge and dishwasher) that required the power of this thing. Great for the car as well. Only downside is the plug is not very long, may need an extension cord.

    Nice shop vac. Not too noisy with strong suction. I like how you can store the hose while it’s still connected to the shop vac. There is a rubber strap that will hold onto the hose once it’s been wrapped around the vacuum.
