The 9 outside-facing tool pockets provide quick and ready access to most used tools. All the pockets in this backpack will keep your do-it-yourself handymen organized, in addition to providing storage for all sizes of tools, accessories, and parts.

DeWalt DGL523 tool bag can hold a drill, extension cords, pliers, screwdrivers, wrench sets, drill bits, electrical testers, most any tool can be placed in this lighted heavy-duty tool bag.

Max 39 Lumens to light your work

Powered by (2) AAA batteries, the built in light on the DeWalt backpack and can be aimed at a work area, or into the backpack itself to help you identify and retrieve tools and other contents. The LED light features 3 output levels to provide the best light source for the application.

Padded for comfort

This Back pack is awesome I just got it and it's awesome it holds all my tools. I have 2 full size drills and a little Bosch 12v and everything fits perfectly the only concern is the bottom most of these packs have a hard shell bottom this dosent but everything else is great
I have had the Red WorkPro bag and the Lenox and they are not engineered to hold drills this pack is and it's awesome BUT the straps are cheap and I don't think will hold long but the top straps are nice and thick

The only parts that fail are the zippers and the shoulder straps. It would be great if they installed clips on the sides for when they fail so you can close the bag, and if they shoulder straps were secured better. I admittedly overload it though. I won’t buy any other bag, it’s perfect for me. I’ll just keep buying new ones every year when they break.

This bag serve its purpose well, but the light broke within months of having it. Before anyone goes did you change the battery, did you do this did you do that, I was certified technician in my field and I checked everything out. It's simply broken.

There is a large hole tearing in the bottom of the outer pouch and the zippers are beginning to break. However it did last longer than most bags. I find the zippers usually the first to go. It's a little short and stout as a bag, the Milwaukee tool bag is a little bit longer and narrower and it feels better on your back when you wear it. I do have a lot of tools in this bag, but it is definitely a chore to wear. It holds all my tools as I need them to, but I do find that once I add one more thing in there it's definitely overcapacity.

If you were to use this as like a light tool bag for maybe like Warehouse use, or maybe low voltage wiring, basically a trade that isn't super physically intensive, it would work. However for a trade where it's physically intensive, you have some big tools in there, and you're using it everyday I wouldn't buy this again.

I'm an electrician doing everything from res to industrial. This bag is AMAZING! Over the years I have literally spent thousands replacing bags and attempting to find the "Perfect one." First off the backpack function of it is so nice for balanced weight on your back, after 20 000 steps a day having balance sure helps. I have it loaded to 40 pounds carrying everything from my hammer drill, impact, extra screws box (12''x 8'' x 2''), full screwdriver and channels/plyers, meter/testers, heck I am able to also keep my small 20/12v charger and spare battery in here with all zippers fully closed. The light that comes with it isn't all that impressive, it has been nice to have as ambient light while doing panels just to see the area where my main flashlight wasn't pointed toward. You can't fit a hacksaw in it unfortunately but for a service bag it covers everything beyond bending pipe or large jobs where you'd be bring in the heavy artillery anyway 10/10. I bought a second one just sitting in the shop in case they stop making it for when this one wears out. So far thought no issues ||:D!

Firstly I've owned this tool bag for a about 2 years, I'm a Commercial plumbing and heating engineer by trade and I'm so glad I found this, it's a brilliant bit of kit. Robust, comfortable and can fit a fair bit of gear inside, my only gripe is the front pocket isn't big enough for all my screw drivers. It gets chucked around sites, chucked in lock boxes, chucked in the van and is still going strong. The straps are so heavy duty and doesn't even seem to have much wear and it has a lot of heavy use, but most of all it's very comfortable to wear when walking around the site or to different sites. Brilliant and wouldn't be with out it. Highly recommend.
