A siphon-based fish tank water changer operates on the principle of a siphon, which is a method of using gravity to move liquid from one place to another through a tube. Here's how DEGGOX siphon-style water changer for aquariums works:

Setup: The water changer is set up by placing one end of a siphon tube into the aquarium and the other end into a container that will collect the old water (usually outside the aquarium). Aquariums must be higher than the collect the old water .

Starting the Siphon: Press the air-pressing button to filled the tube with water to start the siphoning action. This creates a low-pressure area in the tube, causing water to flow from the higher level in the tank to the lower level at the other end of the tube due to gravity.

Water Flow: Once the siphon is started, water will continuously flow from the aquarium, through the tube, and into the collection container. The rate of flow is determined by the height difference between the water levels at each end of the tube and the diameter of the tubing.

Controlling the Water Level: As water is siphoned out, the water level in the tank drops. To maintain a safe level for the fish, the process is usually stopped before too much water is removed.

Ending the Siphon: Physically separate the tube from the water source, thereby interrupting the flow.
