I liked it ! It still a low cost RC Car, but kinda fun ! I played with it in the front of my house, on the road and on the grass. It not super powerful, but it powerful enough to have a good time ! As the battery voltage lower, it switch to a slower mode. It still run ok on the road, just not as fast, but it struggle in the grass. I like playing 15-30 minutes, and I could get that with both battery in high performance. The battery are specific for this unit. You could probably retro fit something with that connector, but it not meant to use just standard RC Battery.

The brake are working pretty well... I'm not sure if it just motor driven or actual brake, but there is some hold so it doesn't go in reverse. It can be annoying at time, as you might press to go back and it doesn't do it, but overall I think it ok !

Lot of parts doesn't seem they are standard part that you can get to be replaced... It does have a manual with details informations of all the parts, but I'm not sure how easy is it to get replacement... But it still a low cost RC.

The remote feel cheap and empty... BUT it working really well and comfortable, as I didn't feel any fatigue. The think I think it great is the speed adjustment on the remote, which make it a bit safer for younger kids to play with it (or friend who just getting started). You could also lower the speed to increase your average run time.

I had a RC Gas Nitro car before, and sure my Nitro car was more fun (when it work), but this is so easy... Put the battery in, and you play outside in front of your house and no neighbor yell at you because it too loud (Well, they could do it, but it not that loud compared to a nitro).

The only think I don't like is removing and reinstalling the body to swap the battery... I wish it had a quicker system to put the body on. It not that bad, but just annoying with my big finger.

4 out of 5 feels right for this one. The RC truck is a blast to drive around the front yard, with a solid top speed of 48kmh, it actually boogies quite well on pavement and in the grass. The build feels tough with splash-proof electronics, metal shocks, and knobby tires that handle grass and rough terrain pretty well. The black-pink body looks cool and stands out.
The control is responsive, giving smooth throttle and solid range for fun bashing sessions. Battery life is decent with two packs giving you up to 40 minutes of play, plus safety features like overcharge protection are a nice touch.
The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that it’s fun but not quite pro-level for serious hobbyists and quality on the body and some parts could be better but for a a sub $150 unit, no real complaints, still a great buy for casual fun and a solid gift idea.

Its a fun RC vehicle with heavy duty dampeners, fast acceleration and an agile turning radius. Whether its playing on grass, dirt or concrete this 4x4 RC is meant to be all terrain. Durability of the top cover panel is somewhat basic using a 1mm sheet of PVC making this a sled vehicle form factor on 4x4 motors and did scuff up once RC flips over or bumps around. At least there's a handful of spare parts included to maintain tires and parts on vehicle. Cover of this RC truck also has to be detached for switching power mode or removing battery. This vehicle ran around 15 mins on a single charge but with double batteries included, it makes driving this RC truck outdoors quite a fun adventure. Charging speed takes around 2.5 hours using the included USB wire but felt rather cumbersome to figure out indicator which blinks during power cycle mode and turns solid green once battery is fully charged. Top speed peaked closer to 40 km/h for around 1.5 minutes, as voltage decreases so does speed running closer to 20 to 25 km/h on grass or concrete. Speed knob also lets me dial performance to make handling this RC truck across terrains easier. Controller is comfortable to grasp onto powering off a couple cells but grip felt somewhat on smaller end and constructed from a lightweight plastic shell. Accelerator does feel a bit jumpy but controls can be calibrated using adjustment dials. Learning to drive this 4x4 RC truck outdoors felt both fun and challenging after figure out controls.
