I'm a kid at heart, so getting my hands on this RC truck felt like unlocking a whole new level of fun. I've tried a few RC cars over the years, but this one is on a totally different scale. The moment I turned it on and heard the fan kick in, I knew it wasn’t just for show—this thing has real muscle. I started with the power turned down so I could get a feel for it, but once I cranked it up… wow. It launches into wheelies, drifts, spins, and flies over bumps like it’s begging to be pushed harder.

It’s surprisingly durable too. I’ve crashed it, flipped it, and landed it upside-down more than I care to admit, and it keeps going strong without any major damage. The truck came with two 3S batteries, which means I get plenty of drive time without having to constantly recharge. I love the way they handled the LED light hookup too—no annoying tangle of wires, just a smart little connector that makes it easy to remove the shell.

The included parts and extra bits feel more like a real repair kit than a random bag of stuff, and everything was labeled and easy to follow. My only small gripe is the button-style trim controls on the remote—I prefer physical dials—but that’s not a dealbreaker. This truck looks awesome, drives even better, and feels like something I’ll be using for a long time. Whether you’re just getting into the hobby or, like me, just want to feel like a kid with a really fast toy, this is a blast.

This RC is a lot of fun and makes a good entry trainer into hobby grade rigs IMO. The drive has some metal in the drivetrain to help handle hard stops and takeoffs. The steering and throttle are proportional and the car comes equipped with an ESC that handles 3S power. The motor has a decent amount of torque that sends it over humps with nice shocks to help maintain control when it lands. It doesn't just bounce all over the place when you land. Comes with an exploded view to help with any parts that may wear out or break, with each component identified with a corresponding part number. These are all things that hobby grade vehicles come with. Now I wouldn't run this against a 400 or 500 dollar rig, but this is a great learner for any age getting into the hobby grade RC scene. It's a lot of fun whether you plan on advancing to the next level or not. At around 30 to 35 this rig will clear your yard pretty fast. With the controllability and durability of this RC I think the price is right. The kids and I are enjoying ripping around our yard and at 5 packs in we have had no issues.

The truck itself is quite good, the 3S batteries allow it to pull wheelies and reach a good speed. Although most of the chassis is made of plastic, it does have metal drive shafts and a brushless motor; spares are also available.

I charged the batteries and took this out on the street to test but, when it got about 30 steps away from me it stopped. At first I thought that something had disconnected but, as I walked towards it, it came back on. Sadly the radio system lacks the range necessary to make this usable. I tested that my AA transmitter batteries were good, they were, and I made sure the car's small internal antenna was straight and free from any obstacles but further tests put the range limit right at 80 - 90 feet.

Close in, this truck drives well but the radio range needs to be increased to more than 90 feet to make it usable. A user-performed cheap radio upgrade might make it acceptable but unfortunately, the 45A ESC is integrated with the receiver so you'd need a new transmitter, receiver, and an ESC making it cost prohibitive.

Sorry but I can't recommend this truck.

Other than trying to drive thru the grass on my yard, this truck is awesome. I have a gravel driveway and this truck can do donuts and burnouts until the battery dies. Shocks work great and the frame is very durable. My kids have driven it from full speed to a full stop on my deck posts and no damage. I can pick it back up and away it goes. Second battery is great to have so one is always on the charger. ��It does take 3-4 hours to fully charge which is less than desirable.��
