How to use it?

1. securing the driving plate to the hub with washers and lug nuts.

2. Place the threaded insert into the plate

3. Inserting the hardened threaded forcing screw to push against a solid surface to loosen the hub assembly.

4. To completely remove the hub, the forcing screw must be pushed against at least two different solid points.

    Changed out the front hub/bearing assembly for Xterra 2007 - lots of rust.
    First hub I didn't have this tool and it took over an hour of banging here and there for the hub to eventually release.
    Bought this - while it just fit (literally just fit), it did the job in minutes.
    I think the best way to use this removal tool is to place some pressure with removing the hub, then using a hammer normally, hammer around the hub; then remove the tool, turn the hub 180' and repeat.
    This uses the removal tool to preload the release and the hammering breaks the rust free.
    Using this tool alone and torquing down until something gives could cause the knuckle to break (as reported by some people).
