    Tried and tried and there seems to be an issue with some of the plates. They won’t click in and therefore can’t be used. Save your money and don’t buy this!

    I bought this to replace several Dash waffle makers with different designs. I appreciate being able to store only one appliance and exchange the plates as needed. It's also much easier to wash the removable plates. My grandchildren love being able to choose a design for their waffles. The first time I used it they said they were the best waffles ever!

    1. Handwashing is probably best. They say the plates can be machine washed on a no heat cycle but who does that?? So yeah. And 2. The handle area does get hot so that’s a little tricky. But I love mine so far. I made unicorn waffles that did indeed look like unicorns and I broke an egg onto the flat plate and in 3 minutes had a perfect egg for an English muffin sandwich. And that’s basically all I hoped for. I’ll definitely try cooking leftover stuffing and mashed potatoes in it at some point. I don’t have room for a lot of extra cooking tools but I’m glad I had room for this cute little gadget.
