This is a very handy tool for bleeding brakes without help. I've used it a couple of times, it works great for my Subaru Forester and my Volkswagen golf. These are a must-have tool for working alone on modern brake systems. The hand pump and positive pressure nature of this tool make it work great in situations where you don't have access to compressed air for a suction type brake bleeder. The 3 l capacity is far more than most users will ever require. Although this doesn't seem like a problem, it does make the tool a little larger than necessary. This large capacity means that there will always be some waste in the bottom of the container. Additionally, the instructions and the pressure gauge do not indicate the appropriate amount of pressure to apply to the brake system. Users must be cognizant that no more than 10 psi is required to bleed most brake systems.

    This wasted my time with the hope that I wouldn't need someone to bleed the brakes for me. I followed the instructions and poured fluid and locked it on the brake reservoir, then pumped it, but guess what? Fluid started leaking from the cap, and the fluid oil was full of air; there was no vent hole. It's just a waste of time and money.

    This was a good kit. Bottles were thick and sturdy. The hoses were thick. The o-rings for sealing were thick. This kit advertises universal compatibility but also lists specific vehicles. Pay attention to that list if you don’t want to buy an additional adapter. Notably, Toyota and Lexus will need a clamp type adapter which goes for a pretty penny. If you look on youtube, the first video will show how to use a similar kit on a tesla. The difference in that kit is that the pick up tube on that pump was molded into the bottle. This one uses a flexible hose. This one has a rubber connector for the bleeder screw, that one didn’t. This one took 40 pumps on an empty bottle to get to 15psi. That one took several on camera pumps while fluid was in his pump. Why does this matter? Because some like to use this only as an air bladder to minimize the mess and clean up. I tested that this pump held pressure at 15 psi. Here's a final tip to using this kit. Hang the collection bottle higher than your bleeder nipple so that air won’t be sucked back in to the system accidentally.

    I did the breaks in wife's truck a couple days ago and using this instead of having to pump the breaks with a helper I was able to do it alone and it was simple to use and clean up very little mess much cleaner then doing the old way getting fluid everywhere this will keep my floors much cleaner in my shop and that makes me very happy it did not leak at all

    the ford adapter is absolute trash, I don't see any way it could possibly seal being made like it is.
    The recovery bottle was missing the cap, hose and the rubber part that attaches to the bleeder.
    Buying this was a complete waste of money.

    I gave this 2 stars because it did not include instructions on how to use. It did however repeat over and over warnings. As someone with knowledge on how to use this I was able to put it together however the included adapters did not fit the Ford expedition I was doing a brake/wheel change on.
