Our kids love smelly markers and so I was excited to try these ones out. My biggest comment is that compared to other brand name smelly markers, these ones have a very low scent. In fact, the only way that these smelt was after I coloured on the paper with them, and then it was only a very faint scent. The colour quality was OK, but I did find that the strength of the markers was a bit low, like they almost seemed a bit faded and I would be considered about their longevity and how long they will last before they dry out.

These are terrible - Limited colour on page, smell is almost non-existent, every marker in every pack was packaged upside down, and the small line I put on my hand does not wash off. I'm also a touch worried that no where do these say "non-toxic", and it is very difficult to find any information about them online. Instead of risking these markers in my classroom, they went in the trash.

The D-FantiX fruit-scented markers arrive in a quantity that borders on the comic. Expecting a single pack of twenty-four, I found myself the bewildered custodian of twenty-four packs of twelve. This is not a complaint. The markers themselves are serviceable—washable, vivid enough for the intended audience, and possessed of an artificial fruit aroma that is neither offensive nor memorable. They are ideal as party favours or classroom rewards, less so for the aspiring artist. There is little to distinguish them but also little to fault.

Pros
• Generous quantity, ideal for bulk distribution
• Washable and suitably vibrant for children
• Scented novelty is harmless

Cons
• Not suited to serious or sustained artistic use

Recommendation

These will suffice if you require a glut of markers for children's events or classroom incentives. For those seeking artistic merit, look elsewhere.
