Exactly what i expected. Cheap little sirens that are loud as heck!
I have them setup as a over temperature alarm in my tractor, and work great. Alerts me whenever something is going on so I don’t risk damage over heating anything.
Needed buzzers for water alarms. These are LOUD and put out a better and slightly lower frequency than most. Perfect for my needs. Input voltage is from 3.3 to 24 volts to operate so they work in just about any circuit you would build.
but , one out of 5 didnt work at all . that's 25 % failure !!!!!!! It would cost too much on my end and amazon's to return it ! one would have to use Gasoline and time to do it ! Dieter
Used them as the beeper on a seadoo. Works awesome. Waaay less than originals. We will see how long it lasts. I don’t mind if it does I have 4 more and it beeps when it starts so I know!
I was expecting a constant tone. They actually go beep - beep - beep - ..... 0.5sec ON/0.5sec OFF It's not unpleasant but it's not what I was looking for. 3.2V is the minimum for reliable operation, and the volume is nice - loud enough to hear in the next room but not unpleasant close-up. Volume goes up with voltage (at least it does up to 10V), so does current (3V:5mA / 5V:10mA / 10V:20mA) It would be hard not to hear it anywhere in the house unless you are having a party. I'm thinking of making various alarms - loss of power to an outlet, water leakage, raccoon on the deck etc and these should be good for that.
