The pen is extremely fun to use, and to my surprise- works very well. It delivers what it promises- rapid and automatic pointillism. The variable speed function is a pleasure.
I hope this company does well so that the material which the pen is constructed with, improves in the future, not that it doesn’t work well- but this item needs to look even cooler than it already does.
My only real criticism of this product, is the Ink, it will bleed into alcohol markers even if you let it sit to dry- but I am sure, in order for it to function the ink they went with was necessary. It is a nice, very black ink- and is capable of accuracy and consistent markings. It does look great.
In the future I expect that this company will have a kit in which you can add your own ink
To cartridges that will work in the pen.
Using this pen: I drew those cactuses in about 15 minutes 🤷♂️ And that would normally take hours.
As someone who draws a lot- I think this pen is a worthy addition to anyones art material collection. As it makes you feel like a kid again, it is terribly fun to draw with. And I look forward to seeing the next generation of this innovative and unique device.
