The vermicelli is fairly thin and comes with 10 bundles of the dried noodles.
I followed the instructions and boiled for approx. 5mins and then rinsed it out. I added some sesame oil to prevent it from sticking as well as add some flavour. I recommend you use a bit more water (I used enough to cover the noodles) as I found it the water becomes a bit thick/starchy by the 5mins mark.
There’s not much flavour for a freshly boiled noodle, but there is a slight starchy taste.
I did a stir fry with mostly leftovers from my fridge. Some Asian melons, rotisserie chicken, grape tomatoes, carrots & onions with some soy sauce & a packet of a dipping sauce for my favorite potstickers.
Everything mixed together well and since the vermicelli doesn’t have any flavour, it soaks up the flavours/sauces you add into your dish, so it’ll taste as good as what you add to it. For my dish, it tasted pretty good and that’s mainly with leftovers from my fridge.
I used 3 of the vermicelli bundles and with everything else I added, gave me 2 full meals.
