The Fine-Point Replacement Blades come two per container. The number of cuts each blade makes depends on the material used. You will know when your blades are getting dull because your cuts will not be as crisp. Replace dull blades for the best, most precise results. Fine-Point Replacement Blades, (formerly known as Standard Replacement Blades, but not Premium Fine Point Blades,) have green or gray protective caps and are intended for use with the green Standard Blade Housing. These blades are meant for use in Cricut Personal / V1, Create, Expression, Expression 2, and Imagine machines only.

When I first installed one of these blades it was cutting through everything.... I used a caliper to measure the length and they appear to be slightly longer than the more expensive "gold" blades, so here's the trick to making them work just fine no matter the variance in blade length.

Put the blade into the carriage slot, with the power off, push down side A's carrier it will go down towards the cutting surface, then with side B's carriage lock open and the blade carrier sitting freely push the white side B carrier down, it will lock down near the cutting surface. Then simply lock the side B carrier lock.

This will allow any size blade to properly be lowered and locked into place then turn on your Cricut and it will actuate both side A and B back upwards to their resting positions. Notice the small gap between the aluminum blade carrier and the Side B plastic carrier? That's the amount extra that blade would be buried into your vinyl or cutting mat if we didn't do this trick!

Think of this method as a manual calibration for blade length =) The best part is this trick works with aftermarket blades too! So even if they are slightly longer you can have them cut as expected.

This is an excellent little tea set, best ever. 2 year old granddaughter has so far completely failed (and not for want of trying) to upset the toaster mechanism, which pops back up a little while after it's pushed down, like a real toaster. 4 year old grandson loves the fact that the coffee maker will hold water in the top until you put the jug (closed) underneath, when it starts slowly filling the jug through the jug lid. Both the jug and the teapot actually POUR WITHOUT DRIPPING! Having had some experience of children's tea sets, this fact alone delights me.

The first one I ordered of these was priced for under a tenner, but it didn't arrive. I had to accept the refund because that shop said they had no more.

The children had already been told it was coming, so I grumpily ordered a more expensive offer. Have to say though, I am very glad I did. Decent quality and the children love playing with it. So far it's been many a cafe, shop that sells drinks, mummy and daddy at breakfast and picnic on the beach and park scenarios.

Shame really, because I am not fond of playing 😕
