  • DURABLE: Heavy-duty 1/4-inch-thick clear acrylic resists wear and tear. Template can be used with a drill press or standard handheld drill. Heavy thickness of the acrylic works great to guide your drill bit perpendicular to the playing surface to ensure game pegs stand straight.
  • SIZE: Each template measures approximately 14.75”L x 5”W. Use the thick acrylic template as a router guide to finish off the shape of your cribbage board. The large top radius is concentric with the adjacent peg hole arcs. Smaller bottom radii help create a clean, finished look to the bottom corners.

Whether you’re crafting 1 or 100 cribbage boards, this heavy-duty acrylic template will help guide the drilling on hundreds of holes to ensure your game boards are built with even and consistent hole spacing and groupings. The Balsam Point Workshop template is designed to last and perform with ease. Just follow the simple steps below to create keepsake cribbage boards to give as gifts or keep for yourself.

1) Secure the template to your game-board work surface by either using double-sided tape or simply blue painter’s tape over the surface of the template.

2) After drilling one hole on both the top and bottom portions of the board, insert the shank of a spare drill bit or 1/8” wood dowel to make sure the template doesn’t move while drilling the remaining holes.

3) Use the sturdy acrylic template as a router guide as well to shape the outside edge of your cribbage boards.
