The Sound Blaster Audigy Fx V2 DBPro comes with DSD256 playback support, additional side channels for immersive 7.1 discrete surround, and an optical-out port for an expanded option to connect to an external amplifier.

Connect to AV receiver or external digital amplifiers via the additional optical-out port
Remove the power cable from the PC, then remove its cover or side panel.
Attach the provided interconnect cable to Sound Blaster Audigy Fx V2 DBPro.
Inside the PC, attach the other end of the interconnect cable to Sound Blaster Audigy Fx V2’s DBPro connector.
Mount the Sound Blaster Audigy Fx DBPro onto any available mount bracket in the PC, and you’re done!
The Sound Blaster Audigy Fx V2 DBPro is an optional daugherboard expansion card that provides additional enhancements to the Sound Blaster Audigy Fx V2.
On its own, the Sound Blaster Audigy Fx V2 features 5.1 surround sound, high-quality audio with 120 dB SNR, high-resolution 24-bit 192 kHz playback, and works exclusively with the Sound Blaster Audigy Fx V2 DBPro.
