How to troubleshoot the printer thermistor
The common situation that needs to replace the thermistor
- Poor contact thermistor
- Does not display room temperature when you do not pre-heat
- The resistance value of the printer thermistor is not about 100kΩ (+-5kΩ) measuring method as the left picture.
- Thermal runaway error: It is recommended to loosen the screw of the hotend block which fix the thermistor (shown as the right picture). If the fault disappears, it is the thermistor problem. If the fault still exists, it may be a motherboard problem.
