So nice not to have to constantly sharpen my pencils, just a little twist is all you need. Only downside was the pencil crayons are not colour labelled like the older twistables so it is difficult to tell the difference between similar shades. Easy fix: use a fine line Sharpie permanent marker to write the name of the colour on the side of the pencil crayon as there is enough space for that. Photo enclosed of 24 Crayola Twistables, now it is easy to colour knowing that the colour name is on the side of the pencil crayons. Thanks, Crayola, for a great product, but in future please put the colour names on all of your pencils. Constantly referring to the box for the colour name just won’t do. Still giving you five stars as I like the product that much. Now can you come up with a box of 100 Crayola Twistables, preferably in a metal tin with lift out or slide out trays; in fact, all your larger pencil crayon collections should be in metal tins with lift out or slide out trays.

These pencils crayons are different in that they are a thicker tip. They are great for a heavier fill colour, but to do more fine and small work they are a bit thicker. I first saw these pencil crayons in a grade one classroom and the students loved using them and since they are much thinner than a regular crayon they had a bit more control. They take longer to colour in parts of a colouring page but do a good job. I used them with my regular crayola pencil crayons and my soft type pencils crayons. A good buy

�鶹�� sells a 50-pack of these twistable colored pencils. So if you have that, is there anything to gain by buying this 24-pack? Yes! There are FIVE colors not included in the 50-pack:

Turquoise. Lighter than teal, less green than aqua, but slightly more green than sky blue. Delightful!

Peach. A bit more orange than sand, a bit more pink than apricot. Light; subtle.

Fluorescent Yellow. Probably closest to green yellow, but much brighter. Good for dark paper.

Fluorescent Orange. Nothing even close to this in that 50-pack. Bright, pale, unique.

Fluorescent Pink. The 50-pack has a LOT of pink options: carnation pink, bubblegum, flamingo, salmon, magenta, orchid, mauve. This fluorescent pink is closest to flamingo, but just a shade closer to red.

Dye lots, and human color vision, vary. But if you're looking for some brighter, lighter color options, you should enjoy this set.
