I’ve bought 3. Only one is still semi working have to turn it on and off a lot because a disk that was playing perfectly fine earlier is now popping up saying “wrong region” or “error disk”. Makes a lot of nice the machine itself. Better off paying the extra $$$ to buy Samsung or literally anything else. This dvd player doesn’t last more than a handful of months. This one lasted 6 months. The first one 3 months, the second 4 months. Waste of money.

I bought this very small DVD player for a relatively cramped viewing/playback area in my RV. Given its low cost and very small size, I did not expect it to perform as well as my larger, full-feature Sony DVD player in my home theater. However, I compared them by playing the same home-made (self-recorded family archive) DVD and a commercial DVD (specifically a Charlies Angels action movie). I fed them each to my Sony Bravia 55" screen via the same HDMI input. The picture and sound quality were identical! The user controls/menus, however, were very different. The Craig menus/controls are much clunkier (i.e., not polished/pretty) but they still do everything I want to do.

The bottom line: This is a very good deal and does everything a larger, more expensive player can do. The user controls may take a bit of getting used to but after playing a few DVDs you'll probably find you've adapted. If not, give it to your kids!! They can handle it for sure! :-)
