The harness supports and secures one camera with a long lens, keeping it always at the ready. The ergonomic design of this camera vest carrier distributes the weight of the camera helping to lessen the fatigue of a long shooting day.

Comes complete with a comfortable and durable, one-size-fits-all adjustable Camera Harness made of Kodra Synthetic canvas with DWR coding fitted with our patented super-strong Twist & Lock camera mount. The C&C machined, anodized aluminum camera hub mounts to the base of your camera and secures the camera to the harness.

Our updated design also features: A quick release waist belt with speed straps; Two stash pockets for carrying extra memory cards or small items on the front; A large outside pocket on the back; Redesigned quieter lens hold-down strap. I am looking forward to using this item in the outdoors and not just around the house, which is the case so far. I hike a lot with telephoto lens and walking sticks due to the terrain and my camera swings back and forth and sometimes you focus on that, pardon the pun, and not your footing. With this harness I will be able to use both sticks and assure myself of proper footing. The harness adjusts easily to what ever thickness of clothing I am wearing as it is just a matter of adjusting the shoulder straps. The camera feels secure in the locking mechanism and with my 150-600 lens there is no sway at all as there is an additional strap that secures the lens on top of the one for the camera body itself. Looking forward to many years of travel together with this harness

I have now used the harness on 5 outings and it works great. It sure makes the carrying of camera and lens easier on longer days out. I just need to make sure that the telephoto lens is locked so that it does not extend itself. You just need to be aware of the limitations of movements when trying to kneel and the camera is in the harness with telephoto lens on. Other than that it locks in securely and no issues or concerns with it coming lose. The extra tether for the camera that comes with the harness is fine but instil use the around the neck one that came with the camera anyway, I don’t even notice it.

I purchased and have using the Cotton Carrier to easily carry a Nikon Z6 with a 500mm lens and other size lens mainly for shooting wildlife. Previously I had said a cross body strap was the best purchase I ever made for my camera, but after hauling a heavy camera and lens on long walks and always having to protect it from banging again your side and getting a sore shoulder when setup with a large lens, I was interested in this product. It can take a bit of adjustment to get it and the camera sitting right, but once you are using it, it will spread the load and free up you hands to focus on stabilizing yourself on long walks. Ensure you use the safety strap, it saved my camera a couple times. In a public setting, I felt a bit self conscious wearing it … but after a couple times I got over it and people either see me a serious photographer OR are likely are wondering wear I got his product while they carry a heavy camera kit either in their hands, or worse around their neck.

In retrospect, I likely would have got the version with binoculars holder, but I can add on this accessory later.

Construction has been solid, I have used it on a number of outings now including bringing it along on trips. No complaints.

Although not strictly necessary, I prefer to leave the camera strap attached to the camera and placed around my neck. This way, when I detach it from the harness, I cannot possibly drop it. The included waterproof cover is an added bonus for those quick, unexpected showers as it saves the hassle of removing a backpack and storing the camera away - only to have to reverse the process a few minutes later when the rain stops to get the camera out again! I'm in my mid-seventies now and like to use hiking poles wherever possible. Before buying the harness, the camera would swing from side to side as I hiked. As both my hands were on the poles, I had no means of stopping this from happening - the harness has solved this frustrating problem once and for all! Attaching and extracting the camera are extremely simple operations, simply twist and lift up to extract, slot in and twist to secure. The harness is fully customisable with regards to height and fit on the torso. There are plenty of adjustable straps that cater for all types of clothing being worn and all types of body shapes. Despite being quite expensive for what it is, the harness serves its intended purpose exceptionally well. Let's face it, it would easily outweigh the cost of an unsecured camera or lens that had smashed against a rock face! So, although expensive, I would wholeheartedly recommend this harness to anyone wanting to hike with their camera always at the ready.

This is a slam dunk of a product. I'm extremely impressed with how this fits for a bigger guy AKA 4xl shirt size. I think that anyone that is carrying a larger lens would love this as it takes a lot of weight off your neck and puts it on your shoulders and distributes the weight pretty evenly letting me go for longer hikes with no pain at the end.
