Used it a few times now, works decent but the extend and retract feature needs help because it skips easily if there's any tension on it. I didn't expect it to be able to push or pull so the fact that it does extend and retract is good enough for me. Not something I'd recommend for a contractor, but certainly good for a handyman or homeowner. It does take DeWalt 20v batteries.

I was delighted to have my stubborn drain clog cleaned so quickly. Paid for itself in one use.. I previously purchased a name brand18v drain cleaner from HD. Never worked right. Tossed in in the trash a few days ago. This unit works so much better and I can use my DWt batteries. Easy to use. That's the positives.

The negatives:

The handle which is used forcefully is not heavy-duty and probably will break in time.
Reversing the cable out of the drain needs some hand assistance.
When reversing, the drum sprays a little drain water on your face. For sanitary reasons best to wear eye goggles, face mask, and gloves.

The instructions say there is a one-year warranty. But if there really is a warranty there would be a company name., an address , email, or telephone number. Something! Also, the instructions are not complete. I hope this is covered by �鶹��'s one-year warranty.

Great product! Saved the day! One hint to get the clogs out. If your clog is past the pea trap take it off and enter the drain pipe from under the sink. Go slow and when you hit resistance put it in neutral and run it for a few seconds and the advance a little. Do this several times. You will get the feel of it. I ran it in all the way and back out a couple times and the drain was unclogged.
