- Reviewed in Canada on May 16, 2025Verified PurchaseThis is definitely creepy and I wouldn't watch it with kids younger than around 9. That was the age I initially watched it with my son and yes, he was a bit creeped out but loved it so much we ended up rewatching it about 20 times. I recently remembered it for some reason and had the urge to watch it again. Definitely one of my favorites.

- Reviewed in Canada on June 17, 2024Verified PurchaseIf you want to see what your fancy TV can do. This is it. I have not been in awe of a film in a while and my jaw hung open when I saw how beautiful this film looks. U knew it would - stop motion - plus HDR … still blew away my expectation. I won’t talk too much to the film - but it is a great spooky PG time: I have this film alongside the Suspiria 4K from synapse - as the bar to which all other films will be held against.
- Reviewed in Canada on August 2, 2024Verified PurchaseThe 4k transfer of this film is nothing short of spectacular. You will notice fine details like fabric and textures that you have never noticed before. If you love this movie you will be surprised.
If you have a good surround sound system the Atmos track is just a pleasure. I recently purchased a 9.4 Denon system paired with Klipsch speakers and enjoyed the heck out of this soundtrack. 10/10 for the entire package of the UHD Blu-ray. Great price too.
- Reviewed in Canada on March 19, 2016Verified PurchaseThis movie gets better with repeated viewings. The careless ease with which these inanimate puppets 'live' is testament to the brilliance of the animators. The 3D is practically without peer. If ever there was a reason to watch a movie right to the end of the credits, this is it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tout nickel!

5.0 out of 5 stars Toller (Stopmotion-)Animationsfilm!
Dabei übertrifft Coraline in diesem Punkt sogar den Vorgänger "Nightmare before Christmas".

5.0 out of 5 stars Effrayant, à vous donner des boutons
