Cut out the templates from the fabric and stitch and style six super cute accessories: a sunglasses case, belt bag, scrunchie, headband, purse and a plushie! The Stitch ‘N Style Fashion Studio also works with most fabrics, so you can make even more amazing creations. The machine’s smart-stitch sensors make it a great beginner sewing machine! Fold the fabric edges and use the clips to keep fabric in place, then guide the fabric towards the needle. The machine automatically starts sewing and stops before it reaches the fabric’s edge!     Garbage!! . I understand that it is a toy and made for little kids, but it doesn't work, the cheap thin fabric that is included with it, is like paper, it tares really easily. Not worth the money. Not even worth the gas to return it. We threw it right in the Garbage after 1 use.

    I bought this for my nephew's 5th birthday and he absolutely loves it! The only caveat is that the fabric that came with the set hasn't been sewing well, dropping numerous stitches which unravel easily since there is no bobbin thread. With some experimentation, I found that 2 layers of dollar-store felt or polypropylene worked well so my nephew has been making projects of his own design using those. He'll definitely grow past its capabilities before too long but it's a good child-friendly introduction to sewing machines that doesn't require an experienced sewer in the house to troubleshoot.
    I would love to see it marketed as more gender-neutral, though, as boys and men can and do enjoy sewing, as well! Also, the refill kits are hard to find in Canada!

    This machine is awesome and we were really happy with it. We have used it since December.
    Caution:
    To re-thread or replace broken needles you need to buy another kit for $35.00. Yup! $35.00. The machine is $40.00.
    This product would be awesome if you could buy the threading needle part for $10-$15 separately. I think it's sad because I seriously can't afford $35.00 everytime a needle gets broken or new thread is needed. I guess my daughter won't sew for a while and we will try to save up for a different product. Hope the company will get some common sense and figure out they'll increase sales if they can afford to have customers say with their product.
