    Got this today. It is wonderful. Heavily made and is going to work on this grill beautifully. I was going to get the griddle from Coleman but it was made out of aluminum. The only thing is the grill hood will not close and lock. The griddle came with a bag so I’ll carry it separately. I also have the small Coleman 1/2 griddle but it has holes for grease and if not cooking on a level ground your eggs and pancake batter run into the grease catch. Great product, glad I bought it.

    Like any griddle maint is key. But when using it camping it held up cooking on it everyday for 4 days. It’s obviously heavy considering its a cast iron griddle. It cooks great and quick. Cleaning was easy with your scraper and a lil bit a water. Like my home griddle I’ll be refreshing and maintaining to not lose the seasoning.

    I have a half griddle for my Coleman Roadtrip, but recently found I need a full griddle. Instead of buying another half griddle to make a full, I decided to go with this as there's no middle seam and has its own grease trap instead of grease dumping into the grill itself. It does sit a little too high preventing lid closure while installed and allows some heat to escape and wind to blow the flame. That said, I was still able to maintain stable temperatures once heated up due to it being thick cast iron. It also doesn't fit as tightly as my other griddle and grill inserts which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. I'll probably grind the "feet" down and re-notch so it fits the way it should. I definitely didn't want the aluminum griddle offered by Coleman due to durability concerns. Great value overall.

    I would give it to 5 stars. Except it does not have anyway for the grease to drip down onto the water pan that's included in my Coleman road trip model.
    Secondly, the lid on my Coleman doesn't close completely with the griddle on.
    Cooking wise, it's better than the branded split griddle Coleman offers and once heated, distributed heat evenly.
    Enough room for some smash burgers and sliders.
