Not so bad: wish all the buttons had lights and responded to pressing said buttons. If original joycons are close you’ll have a hell of the time connecting. Pro tip, go to settings and turn on the pro controller option (usb connect) you will have no issues after that. The MR and ML buttons on the back you will press while playing. They don’t do anything (not sure what they do) but it’s annoying.

Overall verdict: I absolutely love it!!!!

I'm on the heavy side, and it's been hard to pull my arms together to hold on to the switch. Not impossible, but slightly uncomfortable. Not only is this Joy-Con set amazing to look at, it's also amazing to hold. I have no discomfort with this, at all, and now I'm using my Switch again. It is so comfortable that I am now spending way too many hours recreating my animal crossing Island. Someone send help!

I recently purchased this for my son, and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations.

First, the build quality of the controller was quite disappointing. The material felt very plasticky and cheap, lacking the sturdiness and premium feel we expected. When holding the controller, it didn’t give the impression of a durable or high-quality product, which was concerning given the price.

Another major issue we encountered was the connectivity. It took an excessive amount of time to connect to my son’s Nintendo Switch, often requiring 3-4 minutes each time we tried to pair it. This was incredibly frustrating, especially for a child who just wants to jump into his games. The process should be quick and seamless, but instead, it became a significant hassle.

Furthermore, while the controller does offer features like adjustable turbo and dual motor vibration, these perks were overshadowed by the basic functional problems. We found that the turbo function was inconsistent, and the vibrations didn’t always activate as expected, which further diminished the gaming experience.

Given these issues, I decided to return the product. I expected a more reliable and well-constructed controller, especially for the price paid. If you’re looking for a high-quality, reliable controller for your Nintendo Switch, I would recommend looking at other options.

Overall, I cannot recommend this controller. The poor build quality and frustratingly slow connectivity make it a product to avoid. Spend a bit more for a better controller that will provide a more enjoyable and seamless gaming experience.
