As a second set of controllers, or if you need to replace your original ones and save a few bucks, these are a definite option. I used them for a while on my original edition Switch, and they behave exactly like my original ones. Functionally, they are identical. The only thing I noticed that was different is that they are lighter, and the vibration seems to rattle a bit more. However, given that they are a fraction of the price of the Nintendo originals, a few minor differences like that can be easily overlooked. At the time of this review, they go for $33. That's a decent price for third-party controllers.

    These controllers work really well with my Switch. Pairing was easy, and they feel comfortable in handheld mode. The design is vibrant and eye-catching—definitely fun. Buttons are responsive, and battery life has been solid so far.

    My only minor gripe is that they feel a bit lighter and slightly less premium than the originals, but for the price, they’re a great value. Would definitely recommend for casual gaming or as a stylish backup!

    The LungDongQuest Store Switch Controller Compatible with Switch/OLED/Lite look very cool - my kids love the fire and ice theme. These work like the original with our Nintendo Switch at a fraction of the cost for replacements or extras.

    They aren't going to be identical in terms of feel - as others noted they are a bit lighter and the vibration is different, but it's a small tradeoff, and it is otherwise functionally the same. It will work for adding more than 2 players to multiplayer games, or work as a replacement for the controllers if they have any issues or break.

    We haven't noticed a drift issue but the original controllers also can have a drift issue, so I wouldn't be surprised if that does happen. For about $33 at the time of writing, the LungDongQuest Store Switch Controller is a great value.

    Charging: Upon receipt, I fully charged both controllers. A week later I went to use them, and the ice controller was completely dead while the fire controller was fine, despite both being treated the same.

    Vibration: The vibration is MUCH more than stock controllers, although it doesn't bother me a ton as I prefer a different aftermarket controller with a heavier vibration. My husband hated it though. Neither of us liked that the vibration motor sounded loose and made significantely more noise than either our stock or previous aftermarket controllers.

    Controls: For the most part the controls worked okay. But it was found that often it would drift, not respond, or hold a last response despite being given a different direction. This was found mostly on the joystick and the trigger buttons when used as a seperately.

    Design: The design itself is as seen in the photos. It is a glossy finish and is 'slipperier' than any of our other controllers which are matte and have a bit more of a grippy texture. Not ideal.

    Overall, yes, they are a cheap controller, much cheaper than the stock controllers, at this time, $32.99, but my previous aftermarket controller, which I honestly just wish I'd got again, were only a dollar more.

    One of my kids has been testing these for a few days on our Switch, and we've found they function effectively the same as the OEM controllers (for significantly less money). The plastic of the build is slightly inferior to OEM, but they make up for it with the really sharp-looking fire/ice patterns. They came with partial charge, and had to be charged up. Pairing was seamless and simple like all joycons, and the buttons and sticks function as expected. These are very good joycons, and considering the $33 CAD price at time of review is half the OEM joycon replacements, they're a very good value for your money. Time will tell how long they last, but initial testing is very promising.

    I’ve been using these controllers for a while now, and overall, they work great. They sync up easily with my Switch, and the "ice and fire" design looks awesome. However, just like the Nintendo-branded controllers, I’m noticing some drift after a while. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s something to be aware of. Still, for the price, they’re a solid replacement and work well for general gaming.
