This is not liscenced marvel. But it's still a pretty nifty car. It stops and reversed pretty quickly it's got some speed to it. The controller was easy to learn. You do need to be around 15 ft from it to ensure the signal reaches.

When I was a child, the only remote control cars that were available had wires that reached from the car to the remote; to drive the car you had to trail along behind it. Nowadays, remote control cars are common; they are inexpensive and perform a dazzling array of interesting tricks. Not only that, they have stopped being a “boy’s toy” and are popular with both sexes.
Designed for novice users, this Spider-Man themed racer is easy to control and fun to use. The vehicle’s remote has two toggle switches which control the main movements; the left toggle switch moves the vehicle forwards and backwards while the right toggle controls left, and right turns. The remote features two additional buttons which control a feature which will be new to my grandchildren; the left hand button moves the car sideways to the left, the right button moves the car sideways to the right. It’s counterintuitive, but it sure is a lot of fun to watch! The sideways movement is facilitated by rollers on the surface of the four large, tires the car is equipped with. Two additional small buttons on the controller, activate the demo mode with the second acting as an on off switch to control the car’s exterior lights.
The vehicle’s large tires allow it to handle obstacles with ease; our grandkids love to watch it attempt to climb a wall, finally flipping over in the process and continuing in the opposite direction in an upside down position. Trying to turn the car can be somewhat frustrating as the vehicle tends to spin circles at the slightest touch of the toggle controlling turns. There are two bright headlights on the front of the car and one on the back to help the user easily distinguish the front end of the vehicle from the rear end. Colour changing LED’s on both the top and bottom of the vehicle make it look ablaze with light; it’s worth letting the kids stay up late just so they can race in the dark a bit.
The toy comes well equipped although, with the rechargeable battery built into the device, there’s no replacement to provide a longer run. The set does come with two AA batteries for the remote as well as the screwdriver needed to access the remote’s battery compartment. A short instruction sheet and a recharging cable are also included. I do like the fact that the remote control has a small light which indicates whether it is switched on or not.
An indicator light on the car shows when the car is charging. Like most RC units using 2.4 GHZ, the range of control is satisfyingly large.
This car seems well constructed; it is certainly heavier and more substantial than similar models we have owned. It is fast, fun and offers hours of entertainment! While the vehicle handles obstacles easily and is at home indoors or outside, it will likely remain an indoor toy at our house; I can only imagine how much mud could get caked on the tires and how difficult to clean they would be! Past that, it’s an amazing toy! Highly recommended.

My 7-year-old loves this car. Here's what he loves:

-Drives in all directions, even diagonally by pushing the right buttons together
-Likes the 360 degree spin
-Looks cool
-Was easy to learn
-Battery lasts a long time (Dad loves that it's a type-C rechargeable battery)
-Can make it climb over small obstacles
-Likes that he can use it outside in the grass or on pavement and inside on the hardwood or rugs

He couldn't think of anything that he didn't like about it or that he wanted to improve on it. So, it gets a great rating! Good value for the price point.

This is a well made, fun toy. To my surprise, it can go completely sideways as well as backwards, forwards and spin in a circle. Very cool. It can also drive itself and have different lighting effects. Though you can recharge the battery of the body, you need a battery for the controller. It is hard to get it to flip over and run on the other side - if that matters to you - that may be a negative. So - one star off, I guess. Good value. BTW, my cat approves of this car as well.

The maneuverability of this remote control car is very intuitive. Since it can go in any direction, even my 2 year old is able to decently control it. Older adults have been having fun with it as well, again thanks to the intuitive control and being able to go in all directions and not needing to deal with figuring out which way to turn the wheel while in reverse or something.
The lights on it are a little bright to look at but it isn't too bad and it really draws the kid's attention.
I really appreciate that it is rechargeable and you can use standard USB C chargers.
The build quality has been pretty sturdy, we haven't had anything break on it yet.
