When you run out of remote control cars to buy, this realistic snake is the next step. Not only is it fun to control, you can prank just about anyone with it; its very realistic at first glance especially when it is moving. It comes with a rechargeable battery and remote control, and the pieces clip together. Once it is charged it will slither and coil up and generally terrify anyone in range. It needs fairly flat flooring to work well, although it will twitch and move a little in thicker carpet which is just as scary, lol. There is an auto feature where it will move on its own, which has been a huge hit with the cat who has tried to kill it several times. The tongue will stick out and retract and she is determines to get it. Overall this is a really fun toy that the kids love and comes at a very reasonable price.

It's actually hilarious how much fun me and my kid have had playing with this thing. Lol
It's actually incredibly detailed on the face, and the movements really are snake-like, however, obviously the little wheels and the mechanical whirring sound give it away that it's not real. I haven't quite figured out exactly how to use all the bits on the remote, but it only has three buttons. There's also a slider on the side of the remote with a b and c listed, but so far A&c haven't done anything. When it's in the b position, the single large button at the top of the remote is essentially a pause, and then the two lower smaller buttons turn it left or right. That's perfect! If you're trying to navigate it around furniture or other obstacles (or chase your child with it!!!) but other than that it's basically just a "turn it on and let it run" design.

It works amazing on hard floors, and did a pretty decent job on our living room carpet, so because the carpet is older there is a few spots where the carpet has essentially a ripple, and those did cause the snake to get hung up.

I received a remote control snake . The box comes with 3 pieces for the snake and they clip into one another to make the snake. The snake has very small wheels so it’s best used on hardwood , ceramic tile or linoleum, not carpet unless very low profile but still not as good as a smooth floor. The snake itself is rechargeable and there is a port on the piece just behind the head and also the on/ off switch. The box comes with a cable to recharge the device. The remote take 2 AAA batteries not included, you get a screwdriver to open the back and install batteries. The remote has 3 modes A, B and C. It’s not very clear on how these work.
The snake moves well across the floor and is fun to torment my cats with it , kids love it too.
I wish it came with detailed instructions inside the box , there are a few things listed in the box but not full instructions.

I never thought I would be reviewing a remote controlled snake, but here we are. The snake is not meant to be realistic, it's meant to be fun. It certainly is a lot of fun! I played with this with my niece and we had a great time scaring her sisters with it.

The movement is surprisingly lifelike. The only giveaway is the sound of the motor turning the wheels. The sound of the plastic dragging on the floor is also a bit of a giveaway. Neither are terribly loud, but you will notice it.

The controls are simple, but not terribly intuitive. It took me a few minutes to get the hang of turning this little snake around. The range of the controller surprisingly good given it simplicity, and the fact that it looks like an egg.

The battery lasted longer than expected and I chose to not recharge it overnight to ensure we stopped playing with it while it was still fun.

It is decent quality, exactly what I would expect for about $35. The ridiculousness of an RC snake makes it a great deal.

Kids love it! Dogs hate it. My cat couldn't care less. She wasn't phased at all. I was hoping for more of a "cats with cucumbers" reaction but I got nothing from her. I think the whir of the motor puts her off.

The movements are great. It sawys it left to right while propelling forward giving it that "slithering" movement. It can move sporadically, on automatic if you've misplaced the remote or just don't feel like using it. It has sensors that detect if it hit something so it tries to back out. The little tongue that retracts in and out is a nice touch. It's loads of fun and gets my 5 stars!

This toy moves in a slithering motion and reacts to obstacles, which is fun to watch. It works well on hard floors but struggles on carpet. The remote takes AAA batteries, and it’s nice that the snake itself is rechargeable via USB-C. The motor is a bit noisy, and the size is smaller than expected, but it’s still entertaining. My pet enjoys chasing it, and it keeps kids amused too. The remote takes some getting used to, but once you figure it out, it’s easy to control.

Hopefully other people have screw drivers in their house, it comes with one but mine broke right as I was first using it to unscrew the back of the remote. Thankfully my husband is a handy man and has those kinds of things. It does have a sensor when I first turned it on, it was working without batteries in the remote. But every time it would get close to something it would back up. Kinda neat. We shall see how long this lasts with a 1 and 2 year old in my house, not to mention the hubbins. XD Overall very satisfied with this. I would think about ordering more just to do some snake racing or something lol.
