A: You can pry it open with a suitable screwdriver.

How to use the 8mm 2-PIN COB connector
1. Insert wires into the guide slot
and then press cap down
2. Align the Soldering Pads of the light strip surface with the pins on the connector. just please align the positive and negative poles of the light strip
3. Make sure the ‘+’ and ‘-’ polarity is correct.
4. Wire to led strip connection complete.
