    I will start by saying that since deploying these in my pool, I have had no wildlife casualties.

    My only compliant is that you have to find something dense to put in the deck side pocket of the ramp. Would be nice if they included a piece of heavy plastic or something instead of putting it on the customer to finish the job.

    I was having issues with regularly finding mice in my pool skimmer. Since I got this I haven’t seen one. It works great and the color is nice. Some I have seen look bad in pools but this one looks good. Would recommend.

    A few years ago, a friend of mine was raving about these "escape ramps" in her pool. I was skeptical, but I asked for for the link since it breaks my heart to fish critters out of the skimmer. It was this exact product, and I thought it's worth a try.

    Using this product, we went from weekly "small critter casualties" to none at all. Amazing - not even one! It works to save frogs/toads, mice, and voles. However, it's too small/light for large animals to use, even when it's secured by a brick on the pool deck (which I always do as extra weight to help the little animals out).

    This item is easy to assemble, you blow up the little cushion and zip up the cover. The cushion floats, and there's an arm with a weighted end that reaches onto the pool deck. Though it's weighted, I ALWAYS secure it with a brick so that a larger animal doesn't accidentally pull the floating cushion into the pool for my peace of mind (the instructions say rocks or sand, but I prefer to know it is VERY secure).

    The first one I got lasted about 2 or 3 years, and then the mesh started to rip (probably from little creatures with sharp nails and teeth). It faded a little from being in direct sun. I got this set to replace the old one, and it is perfect.

    As I said, this product is exceptionally effective - I still can't believe we have not had a single small animal casualty since we started using it. I cannot recommend it enough, I am so happy that I took a chance and tried it out. It saves critter lives, and it's a relief to not have to clear the skimmer of little animals. Highly, highly recommend.

    I blew up the floaters and one deflated almost immediately. Tried it again…same thing.
    The problem is the vinyl ( plastic) part is sooooo thin. I eventually stuffed it with three ‘ noodles’

Specification: Material: Oxford Cloth &PVC Color: Blue Size: 19*14.5inch Gram weight: 380g Instruction: 1. Locate the hook pile closure, open and inflate the bladder to a firm consistency. 2. Locate slot on the underside of the mesh hem, remove paper, insert plastic strip and push all the way to the bottom of hem. 3. Fill the re-sealable plastic bag inside the blue pouch with sand or pea gravel. 4.Set the weight on the pool deck and the float in the water with the back edge tight to the pool wall.
