Also it has no Canadian safety certification (CSA, cUL, cETL,…) which is mandatory in Canada for any device that runs on 120V and plugs directly into a wall outlet. In fact there are no certifications at all on this product : not even the voltage, manufacturer or country of manufacturing are mentioned on it. The case is completely blank. I guess that whoever builds this doesn’t want to be traceable.
It is incomprehensible that something like this is even sold on �鶹��.

I love the fact that this unit does not take a 5V DC power input to recharge some anemic battery system! This unit is 100% house power! Lots of power, all the time!

I have used a lot of canned air over the years. Some of it to clean off negatives before putting them into an enlarger - as in old-style photography. I did that unit one can spat out some liquid chemical. Never used that stuff again on negatives. I also found canned air useful in cleaning off photography and film/video gear. I still use it, but rarely because of the cost. It has gotten too expensive. But this product is about to change all that for me!

First, this unit by Foretoo is AC powered, which means no batteries to fail and lots of power for as long as I use it. I realize that the air that is being blown out is not filters air - if the air in my office is dusty, that's the same air that will be blown towards my gear. But my office is not dusty. And if the gear is really dusty/dirty, I will blow it out in the shop with the garage door open.

There are nozzles that attach to the front of the unit, to allow for different air distribution. These extra nozzles actually screw on the front. Fantastic! This means that they will not fly-off on their own. They are really attached to the main body! You have a choice of a brush that will also blow air, another to blow up plastic toys, and a narrow nozzle for a more concentrated stream.

Also in the kit are three different brushes, to help you dislodge dust and debris. The duster also has the longest cord of almost any small electric device I have ever seen - close to 10'!

There is always a debate about blowing dust away or using a vacuum instead. I think both have a purpose, depending on what kind of dirt you have, and where it is.

Bottom line - an excellent, powerful and compact cleaning tool! Well made, a number of extras included in the order, along with an extremely long AC cord, make this a serious consideration for you tool kit.

air flow: the fan have step-less fan speed adjustment. The lowest speed is delicate and the maximum speed is comparable to a hair dryer with no heat.

control: push power button up to turn power on, then turn the wheel right to gradually increase the fan speed. I saw some reviews complaining of the lack of memory of fan speed. However, I actually prefer this because the fan speed could be too fast if it has memory.

issues: the first unit i received stopped working shortly after I used it. My guess is that the cause could be due to I turned off the fan and turned it back on too quickly. I would suggest to turn the knob slowly and wait to turn the power back on after turning it off. This could be the reason why other similar fans require a press and hold for a few seconds to turn power on/off. This could be a potential flaw that can be fixed in a future product update.

Overall, the fan works expected as with similar fans. It has a fairly long cord (over 6 feet) long. I did experience issues with the 1st unit but the 2nd works since. I do like the fan because this fan is plugged in for my purpose.

Running as hard as it can, I'd say this duster duster is capable of about 80-85% of what a can of compressed air can do (in terms of pressure). This is impressive considering that the opening on the duster attachment is far larger than the straw you'll find on cans of compressed air.

A person can easily create a little "reducer" using nothing more than duct tape and a small straw. As others have mentioned, you could 3D print a fitting for it. Or, if you don't need to inflate anything, simply modify that fitting. It wouldn't be hard to saw off the tip and then use it that way, or glue in a smaller tube to even further reduce the diameter of the hole the air is forced through. With any of these approaches, you'll wind up with something that can exert more pressure than a can of compressed air.

I used to to clean a couple of "salvage" computers and graphics cards. To say they were filthy was an understatement. The duster worked far better than expected at getting them looking decent again. It is especially good when you're cleaning things like heatsinks. Even if you can't "brute force" all the dust/dirt away with air, you can use one of the included brushes to help loosen it up, and then it'll come right off.

The cord is more than long enough to not really get in the way (at least as far as I'm concerned). It is nice to not have a battery that would eventually fail too. I also appreciate that you can adjust the intensity of the air pressure; that can be handy when cleaning more fragile components. Probably best of all is the fact that you never have to worry about any moisture like you would with a can of compressed air.

The only "down side" I've noticed, is that if you're working with something REALLY dirty (like old computers that haven't been cleaned in ages), the little vents on the back of the duster will eventually clog up. If that happens, all you have to do is take one of the included brushes and quickly dust them off. If you're interested in using this for computers or electronics then I definitely recommend it.
